• Develops policy, design, and implementation strategies in the form of comprehensive plans, sub-area master plans (i.e., downtowns, town centers, waterfronts, parks), and development regulations.
• Evaluates land and site suitability using development regulations (i.e., zoning, subdivision, landscaping), GIS (i.e., infrastructure systems, environmental features, political boundaries), and field reconnaissance.
• Analyzes market data based on economic and demographic indicators to project growth and development trends.
• Participates in meetings (i.e., focus groups, interviews, hands-on workshops, public hearings) with advisory committees, planning commissions, city councils, non-profit organizations, neighborhood associations, business owners, and residents.
• Helps organize and publicize community events, including development of public relations material (i.e, press releases, door hangars, business cards, public engagement websites).
• Collaborates with colleagues and other consulting firms to develop proposals in response to RFPs and RFQs.

Develop and create unique website identities for clients to showcase their Internet-based regulatory content in an intuitive, clear and aesthetic way. I design enCode-360’s quarterly e-newsletters, as well as the firm’s marketing collateral (business cards, handouts, magazine ads, postcards, posters, etc.).

Worked with City staff, developers, and contractors doing research, updating the City’s Zoning Ordinance (including illustrating several spatial standards), reviewing plans, generating staff reports, developing design standards, attending pre-submittal meetings and inter-departmental reviews.
City of Brownwood (Fall 2012 Planning Studio Project)Brownwood, Texas
Worked with City staff, City Council and elected officials in the research and development of an updated Comprehensive Plan. My team specifically developed the tourism, technology, economic development, and urban design goals and strategies of the plan through extensive discussion and collaboration with community stakeholders, city officials and staff.
