We have made it clear thatKen Bates is not welcome torun our club, if things dontchange quickly we could seea repeat of what PeterRidsdale did to United.

Millions of are being wastedbuilding executive boxes, and

not spent in the transfermarket strengthening thesquad with new players.

Ken Bates reign as Chairmanhas been dominated bydodgy dealings, and therehave been long-runningdoubts about the trueownership of the club.

Bates has made it clear whathe thinks of Leeds Unitedfans, calling us morons.Bates running of LeedsUnited has meant we are

suffering our worst start to aseason in 14 years.

Bates has spent 1mrenovating the South Standat Elland Road, building ahotel. We also want to knowwhere the 5m that the clubreceived for Fabian Delph hasgone. Bates has spent 7mon new executive boxes. Thisexpenditure has pushedLeeds United back into the

red. These executive boxeswill obviously be out of reach

for most ordinary workingclass fans.

When we were relegated in2004, ticket prices actuallywent up, and have increasedevery single year since then!Ticket prices at Leeds Unitedare now the highest in thecountry, and higher than 16

Premiership clubs. Ticketprices must be immediately

limited to a reasonable andaffordable amount, withcheaper seats for childrenand others. We should beconsulted and involved indiscussions on ticket prices.

actually reduced the capacityof Elland Road, meaning thatagainst Man United in the

Carling Cup on Tuesday 19thSeptember, fewer of us willbe able to watch our clubplay.

Many fans ask are we evengoing to get back into thePremiership under Bates?Millions of are disappearinginto Bates businessadventures, where is the

money going? We demandthat Bates opens the books,so fans can see where themoney is going and why.

We pay a lot to see our clubplay, its our club, and wedeserve to know whatsgoing on. During thesummer, we sold keeperKasper Schmeichel topromotion rivals Leicesterand bought Andy Lonergan;and sold both BradleyJohnson and Neil Kilkenny,and only replaced them withMichael Brown.

Leeds United has failed tobuy a new striker. Both AndyKeogh and Mikael Forssell

were only loaned in after theseason had started.

A sign of the turmoil atLeeds United was the signingof Darren ODea. Eventhough it was clear all close

season that we needed tobuy a new left-back, ODeawas only brought in on loan2 days before the seasonstarted, and only had 1training session with the restof the squad before being

put straight into the first 11.

Instead Leeds United shouldbe democratically run byfans, players, club staff, andthe local community.
