Engage in self care activities outside of work like getting a massage or watching a fun movie. Prepare all your meals and snacks the night before. If you are always rushed in the morning try making a pitcher of iced coffee for the week. Remind yourself of why you chose to become a nurse Learn to say NO to working over time Ask for help, if you think your assignment is too busy talk to your charge nurse or call a buffer or resource nurse for assistance 1.
