This body of believers had a desire to be a ‘spiritual hospital’ for those who were hurting and a burden to ‘win the lost to Christ.’ It was on April 14th that the group held its first official church service in the April Lane School’s assembly room. The congregation had slow, but steady growth as it moved 5 times in 5 years. Putting their faith into action, the 110 members purchased the YMCA building in August of 1997. They went door to door telling neighbors about Jesus and invited them to the new church in their neighborhood. . The church reaches out to anyone with a need whether its physical or spiritual. They provide emergency food for the hungry, clothes for the needy and even sleeping bags and tents for the homeless. Joshua House Men’s Center was founded to help men with their addictions & Samaritan Village Orphanage was established to help abandoned children in Arusha, Tanzania, Africa. Today Crossroads has become one of the largest ministries in the Yuba/Sutter area and has had a positive impact on the entire region. . Crossroads Community Church is a non-denominational body of Christian believers who meet regularly to worship and praise the Lord. We boldly proclaim the Bible as the Word of God. We reach our hands in fellowship to every believer, knowing that every born again Christian is a member of the family of God. .
