to end calorie counting A top Ellesmere Port slimmingexpert has welcomed a new reportinto the serious health risks of obsessive calorie counting whichshe says “highlights the dangers of modern faddy diets”.

Julia Rafferty, Slimming World Managerfor South Wirral, which helps people to lose weight through healthy eating, group supportand increased activity, was speaking after areport by the Future Foundation think-tank revealed that millions of Britons are at risk of conditions like heart disease and cancer be-cause their obsessive diets are causing them tomiss out on essential vitamins and minerals.

Julie says she hopes that the report will in-crease awareness of the risks of quick x dietsthat rely on starvation or cutting out nutrient-rich foods or even whole food groups.
