Welcome back to a new school year that’s going to be jam packed with fun, discovery, and

ways to expand your leadership potential. This year marks the fiftieth anniversary of the KDSC.

The Kaskaskia District of Student Councils was established in 1965 to represent all the Student

Councils in the southwestern portion of Illinois. Since 1965 the council has hosted thousands of

students and changed lives and has helped improve schools, communities, and individuals for 50

years and counting. Thank you to everyone that has helped shape the 2014 “Best District in the

State of Illiniois” and we can’t wait to continue to change lives, communities, and councils for the

years to come!years to come!
