ABOUT US:

He obtained BE in Civil Engineering from REC, Warangal, in 1971, MS in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad in 1984, Master of Engineering in Engineering Mechanics from Pennsylvania State University, USA in 1985 and Ph.D on “Diagnosis and Rehabilitation of Distressed Hydraulic Structures and Bridges of National Importance” from Andhra University ,Visakhapatnam in 2001.

He is a retired JOINT DIRECTOR from CENTRAL WATER AND POWER RESEARCH STATION, PUNE.

After a brief stint in Railways and National projects construction corporation, Dr. Azaraiah joined Central water power research station, Pune as research officer and rose to senior positions in the organization and headed the foundations and structures group consisting of rock mechanics, soil mechanics, concrete, model engineering, Photo elasticity and Hydraulic structures divisions. Retired as Joint Director in 2003. While in service in CWPRS, he had undertaken research studies on several projects of National Importance and provided solutions for the referred problems.

He Published 21 Papers in National and International seminars conferences / Journals and submitted 94 Technical Reports on 71 projects.

He represented CWPRS on sectional committees of BIS and IRC.

He has been life member of – Institution of Engineers India and Indian Concrete Institute.

Till retirement he acted as Chairman/Member of Departmental promotional committees and selection committees of CWPRS.

Mr.K.Srinivasulu, is the founder of the KDM Engineers (India) Pvt. Ltd. A Technocrat with a Bachelor's degree in Technology in Civil Engineering from NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (FORMERLY R.E.C,) WARANGAL.

Possesses 16 years of diversified experience in Quality Management, Quality Control and Quality assurance, Material Engineering in Highways, Bridges, Building Construction, Dams, Irrigation Projects and Ready mixed concrete Industry.

An achievement oriented entrepreneur and a Team player driven by self motivation, dedicated to continual improvement, welcomes challenges and committed to meet all objectives / deadlines set by clients.

He obtained B.sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry)., from Andhra University in 1967, B.E in Civil Engineering from Andhra University in 1970, M.Tech in Applied Soil Engineering from REC Warangal, Osmania University in 1974 and Ph.D in Civil Engineering from NIT Warangal in 2013.

He served his alma mater in various positions as Associate Lecturer, Lecturer, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. He has distinguished service as a teacher, researcher, consultant and administrator for four decades at REC/NIT Warangal. He retired on 31st January 2014 after attaining superannuation at the age of 65years.

He taught various courses in Civil Engg for B.Tech students and Geotechnical engg for M.Tech students. He has guided more than 50 M.Tech thesis in geotechnical engg. He has published more than 20 papers in various conferences and journals. He was the coordinator for Indian Geotechnical Conferences (IGC) held in 1974,1994 & 2004 at REC Warangal. He conducted several seminars and workshops in geotechnical engg. He is instrumental in starting of M.Tech (RS & GIS) and developing survey and remote-sensing laboratories at REC Warangal.

He was the job coordinator for various consultancy works pertaining to geotechnical investigation and foundation design of major and minor projects for various private and public sector organisations.

During his illustrious 40 years of service, he wore many hats and successfully discharged responsibilities in various administrative roles.

He served as Head - Geotech division. He served as Project Engineer and has done commendable work. He was the internal member of Board of Governors of NIT Warangal in 2008-09. He was the Coordinator for EAMCET 1982 and 1990 conducted at REC Warangal.

He was advisor cum examiner for the prestigious UPSC engg services for more than 12 years.
