The KBP Series Prepackaged Cameras are completesurveillance systems that are quick and easy to installthanks to their plug-and-play design. Each system includesa factory-installed camera (from Bosch’s signature line of

Dinion, DinionXF, or Dinion 2X models), a varifocal lens(with adjusted back-focus), and coax and powerconnectors pre-wired into the housing, plus a color-matched wall mount. (The housing of outdoor models hasan IP66 rating.)

Superior image quality

With 15-bit (DinionXF Series) or 20-bit digital videoprocessing (Dinion 2x), in conjunction with XF-Dynamicwide dynamic range, the KBP Series delivers unsurpassedpicture performance under even the most difficult lightand scene conditions, revealing all of the details in ultrahigh-contrast scenes.

Network-based control and configurationDinion IP network cameras are designed to ensure thehighest possible image quality at all times, providing DVD-like, high-quality video, at up to 25 images per second.True hybrid cameras, they have an Ethernet connectionfor network video and a BNC connection for analog video.

IP models are ONVIF conformant devices that are able toexchange live video, audio, metadata, and controlinformation. They have dual H.264 encoding streams thatcreate DVD-quality streaming video at ultra-low bit rates,as well as a simultaneous M-JPEG stream, that minimizebandwidth and storage usage. They also feature theMotion+ video motion analysis system that is based onpixel change and includes object size filtering capabilitiesand sophisticated tamper-detection capabilities. TheIntelligent Video Analysis (IVA) option, activated by aseparate license, uses multilevel image analysis of pixels,texture, and object direction. The IP cameras also supportlocal recording on a microSD card. This can be used forlocal alarm recording or for Automatic NetworkReplenishment (ANR) to improve the overall reliability ofvideo recording.

Ease of installation and servicingEach analog camera is equipped with Bosch’s Bilinx bi-directional communication for remote programming. Bilinxuses standard video cable to transmit alarm and statusmessages, providing superior performance and simplifiedinstallation.
