The Krsna-Balarama Mela is an annual gathering of Youth from across the country and parts of the world. We come together to share the unique experience of the Mela which provides enrichment from both a material and spiritual perspective – material through fun and games, yet spiritual as every activity is aimed at enhancing ones Krishna consciousness. The Mela is a time to allow indi-viduals an opportunity to reflect upon the year that has past and is an avenue to project true experiences. Bill Gates said “The only way one may grow to achieve their goal, is through knowing their true current posi-tion.” KB Mela creates a healthy and vibrant atmosphere allowing the attendees to express themselves in new and creative ways. The life line of the Mela is Harinama Sankirtan and Sadhu Sanga (devotee association). Each year the Mela hosts the best of Kirtaniya’s from across the globe by bringing them to South African shores and allowing our attendees an opportunity to intermingle, learn from and share with the in artists in a life changing experience.
