NDMVPS's K.B.T. College of Engineering, Nashik has been serving the society larger

since 1999. At present the college provides four year courses leading to Bachelor's Degree of

Savitribai Phule Pune University in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering,

Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering,

Civil Engineering, Information Technology along with post graduate courses in MBA, ME

Mechanical (Design Engineering) and ME Civil (Construction Management). The institute has

been accredited with NAAC ‘A’ Grade.

The purpose of this Newsletter is to provide information to the student-staff fraternity of

Nashik and society at large of the news, including relevant announcements and updates that we

believe are important to them. However, this newsletter is also a valuable tool for bolstering

morale, promoting unity, team spirit, motivating and rewarding achievements of KBT COE,

Nashik. This college News-Letter has been started from January 2017 and latest issue will be

Staff members form IT Department and students

from SE-IT during the field visit to Radio Mirchi 98.3

FM on 3rd April 2019. In this field visit, Mr. Bhushan

and Mr. Raj (RJ’s at Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM)

explained the actual working of Server Room of

Sahyadri Farmers Producer Co. Ltd.’s plant for the

practical study of the subject Fluid Mechanics on 8th

April 2019, in which they learnt about the fluid

carrying pipelines and pumping systems.

(03/04/2019)

Second year students of the department visited

Unique Heat Treatment, Ambad, Nashik for the

practical knowledge of subject Engineering

Metallurgy. Students observed different heat

treatment processes like annealing, hardening and

tempering on 3rd April 2019.

Dr. Pankaj P. Wani (Assistant Professor, Gokhale

Education Society’s college of Engineering, Nashik)

has delivered lecture on Engineering Chemistry to

first year students, in which he make students

understand various concepts related to Chemistry.

Around 180 students took the benefit of the session.

▪ “Engineering Mathematics” (04/04/2019)

Prof. Chetan Shirore (Assistant Professor,

Department of Mathematics, K.T.H.M. College,

Nashik) delivered a lecture on mathematics to first

year students on 4th April 2019. In this lecture he

made students understand various concepts of

mathematics. He also demonstrated some online

utilities and software for ease of calculations and

explaining different concepts.

department of 2017 Batch pass-out student has

secured All India Rank 491 in UPSC Civil Services

Examination-2018. He was felicitated by LMC

President of institute, Shri. Prakash Mate. Dr. N. S.
