Introduction

here is a well-known saying that"Marriages are made in Heaven".Among Hindus, it is widely

accepted that marriage is a result ofRinanubandha or karmic-debt. Hence, theperson you will marry is pre-determined.Parents of children, whose marriages are

delayed inspite of considerable search,console themselves that the pre-destinedperson has not yet come into their ‘radar’of search.Generally pairing is considered by

performing the well-known Guna or koota

based matching and a few other

considerations such as (i) Kuja dosha, (ii)

balancing afflictions to marriage relatedhouses and (iii) avoiding simultaneous

unfavourable dashas.

However, if a few more, easily assessable

factors, which occur with high probability,

can be established, it may help in

strengthening the process of matching &

bring it closer to the determination of the

‘pre-destined’ person or to establish the‘rinanubandha’ (Karma-debt).

The Approach

This article is written after analysing horoscopes of 25 married couples, specifically the three

houses related to karma:

The sixth house (6H) considered to represent pending karmas,

The ninth house (9H) considered to represent present birth karma and The tenth house (10H) which stands for nature & way of performing karma.

This analysis therefore has tested the condition on 50 individuals who were born strangers

but became husband and wife. All the cases are from Indian marriages and a few of them

include love marriages too.

The Result

mong all cases analysed here, a common pattern is observed regarding the above

mentioned houses between the male and the female horoscopes. Specifically,

In D-1, the influence on and/or by Ninth lord (9L), Sixth lord (6L) & Tenth lord

(10L) has very similar or identical pattern in both the horoscopes. This indicates some kind of

karma-connection between the two people who came together in marriage.

The pattern forming ‘similar influence’ is determined by observing:

(i) the influence of each of these house lords on similar houses(ii) the influence of similar house lords on each of these house lords by aspect,

conjunction or exchange, and a combination of the above observations.

This pattern is visible in the charts of the couples in both stable marriages as well as

disturbed/divorced marriages. This factor seems to bring them together in a bond,

irrespective of the duration of married life. The breaking of the bond happens due to other

astrological factors.

Conclusion

At this stage, it may need more observations and study. The interesting observation has been

shared by the author to trigger others to explore a more accurate & definitive system of

horoscope matching. No strong recommendations are made at this stage.
