This unique gas appliance is the ultimate choice for water heating systems available to 4x4 safari and extreme expeditionary. Campa USA is small and light in weight, featuring robust designed with dual gas options. Twin high pressure gas burners are fitted to deliver a manual controlled rising of water temperature up to 65 (C) 149 (F). All auxiliary connections are “Plug & Play”, and the appliance can be operated upright as standard, hung from a tree or a roof rack of a vehicle, or fitted into a camper vehicle door or inside panel for example. Campa USA is reliable and usurer friendly and works when you need it to. This appliance is supplied complete with a 12V DC submersible German made quality pump that delivers 4.1L (1 Gallon) p/minute, a Kariba “Shower Time” kit which includes a shower head, hoses and connectors. This exclusive pump fits into a 20L (5 Gallon) water Jerry can and is technically rated with a 4.1L (1 Gallon) per minute water flow. The appliance is guaranteed for a period of six months against faulty workmanship or defective parts, and the submersible pump for 12 Months from date of purchase, subject to the terms and condition as noted herein.

Duel Gas – Twin Burner: Manual Control Operation

New from the Kariba USA range of products, this unique gas appliance is the ultimate choice for water heating systems when camping, or on safari adventures and overland expeditions. The unit is small and light in weight, featuring robust design with fold away legs to minimize the size. Twin high pressure gas burners are fitted and powered by dual gas options to operate this appliance. This unit is designed for use as an outdoor shower and ablution facility. It can be made use of just about anywhere or at any time, and can be fitted into an off-road camper vehicle. A unique feature is the twin high pressure burners that are independently manual operated for safety and reliability. These burners are powered by EN417 screw-in butane/propane mix disposable gas canisters. Alternatively they can be powered by LP Gas from a gas bottle/tank. Travelers and expeditionary can be assured of power supplies by stocking EN417 gas canisters for emergency use when they are restricted by the various technical standards of filling gas bottles in foreign countries. No electronic “preventative sensor” component parts fitted to this appliance such as those incorporated in household gas operated water heaters. These types of component tend to fail in remote places where NO aftercare is available. For safety and reliability, this appliance is manually controlled with simple user friendly rules that apply for operating the appliance. Adjusting the rising of water temperature up to 65 degrees Celsius is achieved by rotating the twin gas ON/OFF control knobs. All auxiliary equipment and connections is "Plug & Play" with no tools required for use. The Campa USA can be operated placed upright with its legs folded out, hung from a tree or a roof rack of a vehicle, or fitted into a camper trailer door or panel for example. This appliance is supplied complete with a Kariba "Shower Time" branded German made 12V DC quality submersible pump kit that delivers 4.1 L (1 Gallon) p/minute. The pump kit includes a shower head, water flow restrictor, hoses and connectors, and is the only submersible pump that fits into a 20 Liter (5 Gallon) water Jerry can. This appliance is built tough to withstand the endurance demanded of off-road adventures, and is packaged in a strong Wolf Pack (Ammo) Box for protection during transport in rugged terrain. The Camper USA works when you need it to, safe for use by adults in accordance with the instructions supplied, and minors under adult supervision, The Campa USA is guaranteed for a period of six months against faulty workmanship or defective parts, fair ware and tare excluded. The submersible pump is guaranteed for a period of 12 Months from date of purchase, both of these are subject to the terms and condition as noted as noted in the Operating Manual and Quality Assurance Certificate supplied with the appliance. How the Kariba-Campa USA works: (As noted in the Operating Instructions)

Refer to setting up the system as shown on the “Set-up Drawing” page 3, including Visual assists on pages 10 & 11. This water heater has been designed to be user friendly, and the auxiliary equipment made for simple “Plug & Play – No tools required” application in order to operate it. When making use of this appliance, in the first instance attach the supplied auxiliary equipment to the control panel and body side as noted on pages 3 & 10. Then attach securely screw-in EN417 gas canister/s (not supplied) into the burner/s gas inlet and/or the single LP Gas “Piglet” hose (supplied) which must also be attached and secured to a gas bottle. No pump operation is required if cold water from a tap or a gravity feed water container/tank is made use of. A minimum water pressure of 0.5 Bar is required if this alternative source is made use of. The supplied 12V DC power lead must be plugged into a cigarette lighter socket of a motor vehicle or another suitable 12V DC power supply. The submersible pump hose power lead and hose connector must also be connected to the “Cold Water Inlet” on the left side of the body as shown on page 3. Power to the submersible pump must be switched on the control panel to deliver water flow from the pump. Caution: Water must be flowing through the heat exchanger to the showerhead prior to ignition of the gas flame. The electronic “Push Button” flame ignition located on the control panel delivers sparks sent from the ignition generator to the gas burners to ignite the gas burner flame. The twin gas control valves determine the flame height for power delivered to the heat exchanger. When cold water is pumped through the heat exchanger, with the burner flames ignited, the heat exchanger raises the water temperature to the showerhead. Now open the gas control knob to burner No. 1 by tuning it a few full turns. Then press the flame ignition a few times to insure the flame is lit and observe the flame through the vent slots of the body. With the flame lit, open the No. 1 gas control knob a few more times to maximum power. The energy of the flame passes through the heat exchanger which rapidly increasing the water temperature. To control the water temperature, adjust the gas control by turning it open or closed. To increase the temperature even more, open the second gas No 2 burner control until the desired water temperature is reached. A consistent water temperature can be delivered until the appliance is shut down. To shut down the operation, simply close both the gas control valves to the “Closed” position, and switch the 12V DC pump off, or close the water at the tap if used. For safety sake, the manufacturer recommends closing the gas bottle valve when it is not being used, and/or screw out the gas canisters for safe storage. This will insure a safe environment at the camp site, and during transport.

Basic “Set-Up” Instructions – Kariba Camper USA:

1. Swivel the two folding legs fully open. Place the appliance on a level surface or hang it to be level.

2. Connect the pump power lead to the appliance, and the vehicle 12V plug lead to the power socket.

3. Connect the pump hose connector hose to the cold water inlet as shown on the drawing above.

4. Connect the shower hose to the hot water out socket on the control panel and make use of hangers.

5. Insert gas canisters by screwing them into the burner sockets until finger tight. Check for leaks,

and if you smell gas, do not operate the appliance until you have remedied the gas leak.

6. When making use of the LP gas bottle/tank, or butane mix gas canisters, insure to connect the gas

hose securely to the gas bottle/tank and the gas burner. If you smell gas, do not operate the

manufacturer within 24 hours of the purchase by the customer. The manufacturer recommends that

operators of the appliance are to read the supplied Instruction Manual booklet to become familiarized

with the workings of this gas appliance before connecting it to a gas bottle/tank or gas canister/s,

and to retain the instruction booklet for future reference. Having read the instruction manual,
