Department of Civil Engineering The Civil Engineering Department was founded in 2008 to address the increasing demand for skilled engineering professionals in Afghanistan. The Department focuses on major subdivisions of civil engineering, including: Hydrology and Hydraulics Transportaon Geomacs Structural Geotechnical Environmental Construcon The Bachelor of Civil Engineering (BCE) is a credit-based program to be completed over a four year period on a full me basis. Students are required to complete minimum 138 credits in order to qualify for graduaon. Around 350 students, including women, are pursuing BCE degree at Kardan University. 142 students have successfully graduated from Bachelor of Civil Engineering. Admission RequirementsProspective students are required to be at least high schoolgraduates. Professionals and diploma program graduates (12 grade and above) are highly encouraged to apply. Admission to the bachelor program will be subject to Kardan University’s entrytest and interview results.
