About Us

Balanced Martial Arts first was located on New Rochelle Road in Bronxville, opening its door in 2001. Now we are proud to teach students from many of our surrounding communities such as Pelham, New Rochelle, Tuckahoe, Mount Vernon and Yonkers. With classes 7 days a week, we are proud to offer our students the best schedule of classes in all of Westchester.

Pre-School Kids Program

Basic Physical Skills: For most beginner's we start with a focus on core strength and balance. We know that students at this age are not going to be the next Bruce Lee, but we can develop basics physical skills that will set them up to succeed in future martial arts development or in outside sports.

School Age Children

Our beginner’s program is built to develop several key traits in our students. Our character concepts generally taught in the beginner’s program include

Teens Program

Like our other martial arts programs, we challenge our students to develop both their mind and their body. Students will be asked to display respect, courage and self-discipline. These values lay the foundation for success in training and the physical skills most often thought of in martial arts, most notably physical fitness and self-defense.

Adults Program

Our martial arts for adults program has classes 6 days a week, with most sessions lasting about an hour long. Our adult’s beginner program is built for students who are trying to balance work, a family and their personal health.
