This is a Data Visualization exercise, rendering the relationship between “Politics”

and the other domains of society. The data of historical landmarks has been

represented by a metaphor of a game of Pachisi which is a traditional Indian board

game. Here the game of Pachisi is re-interpreted in the context of politics

and society. The relationship is determined by the colour intensity of the box.

This is a Data Visualization exercise, rendering the relationship between “Politics” and the other domains of society. The data of historical landmarks has been represented by a metaphor of a game of Pachisi which is a traditional Indian board game. Here the game of Pachisi is re-interpreted in the context of politics and society. The relationship is determined by the colour intensity of the box.Categorisation allows to explore different relational groupings across the time line. Pachisi is a cross and circle board game that originated in ancient India, that has been described as the national game of India. It is played on a board shaped like a symmetrical cross. A player's pieces move around the board based upon a throw of six or seven cowrie shells, with the number of shells landing aperture upwards indicating the number of places to move.
