KATA PENGANTAR

Kalimantan Selatan Dalam Angka merupakan seri publikasi tahunan BPS Provinsi

Kalimantan Selatan yang komprehensif. Publikasi ini memuat gambaran umum tentang

keadaan geografi dan iklim, pemerintahan serta perkembangan kondisi sosial-demografi dan

perekonomian di Kalimantan Selatan. Beberapa tabel tertentu menyajikan pula data padatingkat kabupaten dan nasional untuk melihat keterbandingan antar wilayah.

Publikasi Kalimantan Selatan Dalam Angka 2015 memuat tabel-tabel yang sebagian

besar menyajikan data tahun 2014. Data yang disajikan bersumber dari kegiatan rutin, sepertisurvei dan sensus yang dilaksanakan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Kalimantan Selatanserta dilengkapi dengan data sekunder dari berbagai instansi pemerintah dan swasta di

Kalimantan Selatan.

Publikasi ini dapat terwujud berkat kerjasama dan bantuan dari berbagai pihak.

Kepada semua pihak yang telah memberikan kontribusi, kami sampaikan penghargaan danterimakasih. Mudah-mudahan statistik yang disajikan memberikan manfaat dan digunakan

PREFACE

Kalimantan Selatan In Figures is a comprehensive annual serial publication, from BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Selatan.The publication provides general picture of geographic

and climate condition, government as well as key socio-demographic and economic condition

in Kalimantan Selatan. Data in certain tables are also presented at regency and national

levels in order to compare socio economic conditions among regions.

The 2015 Kalimantan Selatan in Figures, in general presents data relating to the year 2014. The source of data basically compiled from routine activities, such as surveys and

censuses, and in addition to that, secondary data are also supplemented by the public and

private institution in Kalimantan Selatan Province.

The release of this comprehensive report has been made possible, due to the

assistance and contributions of various government institutions and private organizations. To

all parties who have involved in the preparation of this publication, I would like to express

my high appreciation and gratitude. Hopefully, this publication will be a useful resource to fulfill the demand of basic information, and make the Kalimantan Selatan development

planning and evaluation steadier. Comments and suggestions to improve the contents of this
