Dear Parishioners,G L O R Y T O G O D
In 2021 we will endeavour to continue the good work of the Parish with the blessing of His Eminence Arch-bishop Makarios. We glorify God and we pray that God continues to bless us. We realise there is much more work to be done in our Community but with prayer and dedication the future is bright despite the difficult past Covid year.
Now that we have received approval for the De-velopment Application plans for a Pre School and Community Facilities we look forward to fun-draising together for the large sum of money to complete this project! Your prayers, support, dona-tions and, if possible, bequests will be appreciated. We can rejoice at the “team effort” involved to move ahead as a Parish and one Body of Christ. It is only your generosity and presence that encourages and strengthens our work. To this end we are planning our Annual Fundraiser and Raffle Drawing on March 6th 2021 at Doltone House, Sylvania Wa-ters with the theme of celebrating 200 years after the Greek Revolution of 1821! We hope you can attend and would appreciate your early booking.
We would like to acknowledge all the efforts of our Parishioners. We would like to thank our Parish President Paul Parris and all our hard working Com-mittees. We pray God gives them and all of you as Parishioners strength, enlightenment and health for the progress of your families, and indeed, the ex-tended family of the Parish. A big thank you goes to the Church committee, Ladies auxiliary, Building and Events committees, Chanters, Choir, Altar boys, Fel-lowship, Orthodox Cafe and our Volunteer cleaners, cooks and gardeners. To the children and teachers of Scripture, Greek school, Sunday school, Play group, Greek dancing, and so many more people, thank you, and God bless you all in a very special way. Fr Constantine.

HYMNS DEDICATED TO CHRISTMASMake ready, O Bethlehem: let the manger be prepared, let the cave show its welcome. The truth has come, the shadow has passed away; born of a Virgin, God has appeared to humanity, formed as we are and making godlike the garment He has put on. Therefore Adam is renewed with Eve, and they call out: ‘Your good pleas-ure has appeared on earth to save humankind’
You have come to dwell in a cave, O Christ our God, and the manger received you; shepherds and Magi worshiped You. Then was the preaching of the prophets fulfilled and the angelic powers marveled, crying aloud and saying: ‘Glory to Your condescension, O You who alone love humankind’
Your Nativity, O Christ our God, has shone upon the world with the light of knowledge: for thereby they who adored the stars through a star were taught to worship You, the Sun of Righteousness, and to know you the Dayspring from on high. O Lord, Glory to You.
PROGRAMMA AGIASMOS KATOIKIWN TA AGIA QEOFANIA - PROGRAMME FOR
BLESSING OF HOUSES 2021
HYMNS DEDICATED TO EPIPHANYWhen You, O Lord, were baptized in the Jordan, wor-ship of the Trinity was made manifest; for the voice of the Father bore witness to You, calling You His belov-ed Son. And the Spirit in the form of a dove confirmed the truth of His Word. O Christ our God, Who has appeared and enlightened the world, glory to You. On this day You have appeared unto the whole world, and your light, O Sovereign Lord, is signed on us who sing your praise and chant with knowledge: You have now come,You have appeared, O Light unapproachable.
