Ruth Becker; Exploring the Titanic

Ruth Becker's problem is that the ship had hit the iceberg, then she had went to the deck and it was chaotic.

Next adversity was that she couldn't find her husband, also her oldest daughter couldn’t get on the same lifeboat as her mom

She overcame her adversity because she had confidences in her child also she believed that her husband can come out safe

Victor; Seventh Grade

Victors adversity is that he likes a girl named Teresa, but he doesn`t know how to talk to her .

The next problem is that Victor takes a French class, but he doesn`t know how to speak French. Also he tries to act like he knows how to speak French

He solved his problem by approaching her in a good way and trying to talk to her

The three characters I choose were Jonas from The Giver, Victor from “Seventh Grade”, and Zebra (also known as “Adam”) , all had to face different adversities.

They were able to overcome their adversities with the support of others, and the confidence they found in themselves.

If you try really hard to reach your goal its possible.
