President's Message September is here with Labor Day weekend drawingnear. Before the fourth quarter frenzy begins for most of us inthis industry, I hope you all takea moment to reflect, relax, and prepare for a fun OpenEnrollment Season!! Regardless of your specialty, customerbase, or vendor partners, we are all in this together!!! Each ofus has our own unique strengths, challenges andopportunities for making a powerful difference to the clientswe serve and our communities. Don't lose sight of why we dowhat we do and the importance of our profession. It's anexciting time to be a part of this industry and as a member ofThe National Association of Health Underwriters, feelconfident that your association is hard at work protecting yourinterests.
The NEIAHU Chapter is also gearing up for 4th quarterand we are on Fire!! The enthusiasm and committeeactivities are in full swing. If you have not decided on acommittee, yet, please reach out to the committee chairs they are all looking for fun team members.
If you missed last month's meeting, Kayla Hsu fromFSSA spoke about HIP 2.0 Employer Link. She did an amazing job explainingand answering our member's questions. Kayla will be back again in April forour Super CE Day event with updates.
The August Meeting was also our Annual ChapterRecognition program. We recognized our chapter's andmembers accomplishments forthe past year. Highlights included:
NEIAHU achieved Gold Certification (4th year to bringhome the gold!!)2015 Pacesetter Award (our 3rd)
