How can K-Solarassist us in the process of going solar?
• NYPA providing free site survey and energy analysis through K-Solar• Roof age and suitability• Ground mounted or parking lot solar options• Shading analysis• Analysis of electric bills• Energy production estimate
• Provided over 260 schools with free solar site assessments• Identified 184 schools with 69 MW potential capacity• New site requests being received and assessed on an ongoing basis
How can K-Solarassist us in the process of going solar?• Educational content, such as curricula and teacher
training events• Expedited permitting• K-Solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)• K-Solar Program aggregated procurement
– Technical and administrative support– Economies of scale
Key Takeaways
• Register Today (if you have not done so)
• Review the K-Solar PPA terms and conditions• Announce the K-Solar recommended solar developer(s) in April• District will individually negotiate and execute PPA with the recommended solar
developer(s) • Pricing supplied ($/kWh) for “standard building” with chart of change orders and effect
on energy pricing• Pricing chart includes effect of NYSERDA MW Block incentives• Pricing valid until 12/31/16 sunset of 30 percent federal Investment Tax
