K-CHIEF 700 ME-GI SCENARIO COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES Through scenarios based on actual events, the course participantwillbeabletoassessgivensituations,andtake actions to optimize the performance of the LNG vessel in regardstochoiceoffuel,fuelconsumptionandmaintenance cost. Based on own experience, the participants will be provided with further insight of the K-Chief 700 functionality between Power Management, Gas Management and Machinery. TARGET GROUP Personnel who will be operating and/or maintaining the K-Chief 700 system onboard a LNG carrier vessel. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS K-Chief 700 Step1-System Introduction Course or K-Chief 700 Step1-LNG, System introduction Course CONTENT Basic LNG Knowledge Gas handling machinery: Heaters HiCom HiVar GCU Reliquefaction Power Management Scenarios based on actual events Case Solving, analysis and assessment LEARNING PROCESS The training will be a combination of theoretical and practical exercises. Most of the course activities are based on scenarios that the participants will prepare and present in class. By utilizing the participants’ experience, the exercises will be subject to peer review and discussions. DURATION 18 hours NO. OF PARTICIPANTS Maximum 9 LANGUAGE English if not otherwise agreed. ASSESSMENT NA CERTIFICATE Certification of attendance will be issued upon comp- letion of the course.
