THE UNIVERSITY Chartered institution of higher learning that provides holistic quality

education from a Biblical Christian world view. All her educational

programmes are aimed at producing graduates who are fully equipped

for the service of God and humanity. The University was established

in October 2002 by the 2nd President of Kenya, His Excellency Hon.

Daniel T. Arap Moi , who is also the Chancellor. This was as a result of

his visionary idea of setting up a Christian University that would meet

the demand for higher education in Kenya by offering quality education

based on strong Biblical moral principles. Kabarak University was

awarded its charter on 16th May 2008 by the 3rd President of Kenya,

His Excellency Mwai Kibaki. The University acquired ISO 9001:2015

Certification in November 2017.

Daniel T. Arap Moi Library

The Library has a seating capacity of 1,500 users. It provides access

to massive collection of print, digital and electronic books, journals,

magazines, audio-visual and other informational materials. The library

serves the entire academic and other members of the community

Medical Facilities

The University and Ministry of Health clinics are located in the Main

Campus. Both facilities offer medical services to the staff, students and

the entire Kabarak Community.

Chapel Services

Kabarak University as a Christian institution centres her activities on the

worship of God Almighty. The Chapel with a seating capacity of 1,500

provides a vital venue for spiritual growth for students, faculty and staff.

Spiritual activities offered include; Worship Services, Sports Fellowship,

Christian Union, Mission Outreaches, Pastoral Counselling, Staff

Fellowships, Mentoring Programme, Baptismal and Sunday Services.

Lecture Halls

The University has lecture halls that are connected to the Internet 24/7.

Medical, Science and Computer Labs

The University has well-equipped state-of-the-art science, computing

and medical laboratories.

Bethel Auditorium

The facility has a seating capacity of 1,500, and is ideal for conferences,

workshops, meetings, seminars, theatrical performances and

conventions.

Accommodation/Catering

Students residing in the Main Campus are provided with excellent

accommodation and catering facilities/services. They are provided with

24/7 hot water in both male and female hostels. While on campus

students enjoy affordable, nutritious and fresh meals from the students

dining hall. Both facilities are covered with 24/7 Wi-Fi.

Sports and Recreation Facilities

The University is endowed with modern sports facilities which include

athletic tracks, courts for tennis, basketball, hockey, rugby, soccer and
