Tullamore Distillery

The new expansion works at the TullamoreDistillery required tank calibration service on arange of tanks.

We calibrated 7 new tanks using the JWF mobileflow rig.

The calibration was done over 6 full days at siteand full tank calibration tables were suppliedwith manual tank dips.

All William Grant personnel were delighted withthe service and was all the better for finishingthe calibration ahead of schedule.

Teaninch Distillery

The customer wanted to check fordiscrepancies in one of their yeast tanks.

Liquid is transferred from a 20m³ yeast tank intoa 5m³ yeast tank. The customer was unsure ofhow much liquid was left in the 20m³ tank.

We calibrated two tanks to verify levels usingthe JWF mobile tank calibration rig.

We used the tank strapping numbers generatedfrom our calculation software to verifyaccuracies and put them into the Vega units.

Overall, this enabled the distillery to manage theyeast process more accurately and costeffective.
