JUVE PATENT | WEB APP MANUAL

THE DEFAULT LANGUAGE OF THE WEB APP IS GERMAN. ALL FUNCTIONALITIES ARE DISPLAYED IN GERMAN.

You will recieve an email from JUVE with a link to the JUVE Patent publication.

For example:https://webreader.mediacologne.de/juverechtsmarkt#/reader/85727/

If you open the link you will be navigated to the JUVE web app and the JUVE Patent publication will be displayed.

Make sure you are connected to the internet.

Once you open the link, the JUVE patent publication will be enlarged and displayed on your screen in the JUVE web app.

You can change the size (for example a full size view) by using the zoom-in [1] or zoom-out [2] function.

Have a look at the result on the next page.

Once you have changed the size of the document, it is shown at full size within the JUVE web app.

By using the anchor button at the top right of the JUVE web app, you can change to a full size view(presentation mode) [1].

You can also choose between a single page view [1] or a double page view [2].

You can still use the zoom-in or zoom-out function for a better text view.

At the bottom of the web app screen view you can choose between several tools (toolbar). The first tool is the index [1]. If you choose the index, a window will be opened with the chapters and articles of the publication. By tapping a chapter or article you will be navigated onto that page.

If you tap on the bookmark [1], a win-dow will open and ask you if you want to save the shown page as a bookmark.

The third tool is the search [2]. You can search for single words or complete text.

[3] is the page view (single page view or double page view) and [4] is the down-load tool (you can download the shown page onto your device).

With the other tools you can switch between pages/chapters or change the zoom size.

To the right of the web app you can choose between different types of annotations. For example you can underline or highlight text [1], draw elements or sign (names) with a pencil.

You can also write comments or notes with the keyboard text tool [1] and save the information (as long as you don‘t close the publication) or download and print the page with the notes.

Note: if you close the page, all annotations will be deleted.

Once you have finished reading the publication and you want to leave the page, simply close the window tab. Do not try to leave the Web App by tapping Meine Dokumente/My documents [1] because that will take you back to the web app kiosk.
