Running Title: Justifiable Protection

Background: Eden Lynch has crashed landed on some unknown planet named “Irth” and is taken in by

one of their warriors named “Bruce Batman”. They have a torrid affair until she finds herself pregnant

with triplets. Bruce is overjoyed and wants to make it all work. Eden is unsure of what she wants, but all

her Force Powers are shifting, from having no powers to having extraordinary powers. She wonders if itis the children give thrust in power.

Conflict: Destruction vs Justice

Plot: Eden Lynch has to decide sever herself from the Force in order to save the man she loves and their

children. If she does not sever herself, she could destroy the planet, but without a fight. The enemies of 

Batman see what she is able to do and “Hush” who kidnaps her and tells her he will disembowel her

unless she yields her power to him. Batman races to find and save her through his detective work before

the Justice League reaches her to vanquish her from the planet. Eden must trust Bruce that Justice will

prevail.

Tagline: Seeking Justice Requires No Force Powers…

Dramatis Personae:

•  Eden Lynch (non-canon OC)

•  Bruce Wayne/Batman

•  Hush (villain of Batman’s)

•  Justice League of America (a judicial body)

Settings: Earth

Scene 1: Eden is seen running wildly outside from a horrific nightmare through the forest on Wayne

Manor. She races away from some specter who haunts her. She gets into a clearing and cowers in tears,

emits a 2 mile wide Force Fury wave burning down everything in it’s wake.

1.  Eden must say things that are crazy, posting images of ghosts chasing her.

2.  Post the Force Fury image by Starkiller

Scene 2. Bruce flies in and collects her. He worries about her pregnancy adjustment and is she getting

paranoid and falling psychosis. He gets her into bed and cares for her until he gets a top secret call in the

Batcave from the JLA. They question him about Eden and what is going on and admonishing him about

not undergoing decontamination procedures for aliens. Batman gets disgusted and tell him she’s

pregnant. The JLA is enraged and tells him she needs to abort. Batman responds very evenly.

What must happen in this scene:

1.  Batman is freaked out by Eden because she’s never been a threat before.

2.  Batman must answer to the JLA and his reasoning.

Scene 3: Hush discovers the Eden-effect and makes calculations as to who she really is. He abducts her

and puts her into restraints in his lair. He tortures her where she does not fight back until he does a

different kind of torture – psychological torture – and discovers she hurts by ________. He continually

badgers her until she unleashes a power he never seen. His robots move around her harnessing the

energy to destroy something (city, satellite, etc.). Then Batman runs in defeating all the henchmen and

curses Hush and restrains him. Eden overpowered unshackles herself and aims her Force Lightning to kill

Hush, but Batman stands and tell her no, before the JLA enters. She collapses in Batman’s arms and he

hope she’s alive. The JLA gets there and race to save Eden’s life on their spacestation. They save her and

the babies. Later, they find out that it was never Eden who had all that power. It was the babies the

whole time protecting her.

1.  Hush discovers the Eden-effect

2.  Hush thinks Eden is the ultimate weapon and will do anything to keep her.

3.  Batman worries he will lose Eden like everyone else he loves and will do anything to keep

her.

4.  The JLA learns that Eden is no different from them and saves her life only to find out it wasthe babies that had Force Powers to protect her.
