Following the success of our previous youth engagement programs, we, the International Movement for a Just World (JUST), are pleased to invite your organization to participate in our upcoming Inter-Civilizational Youth Leadership Program (IYLP) 2015.
WHAT IS IYLP?The program at its core is a leadership development program which seeks to bring together some 50 youths between the ages of 21 and 30 years, from different nationalities, religious and cultural backgrounds to:
Educate participants in realizing their true capabilities and responsibilities. Provide the conceptual foundation for spearheading initiatives to bring about meaningful change. Reflect upon the various issues faced in inter-civilizational relations in today’s world. Develop effective strategies and action-plans in addressing the many civilization challenges they each face.
The program will be underlined by the shared spiritual and moral discourse each civilization can bring to this program. Each participant will be encouraged to use their experiences, combined with the lessons and deliverables from the program, to develop a conceptual understanding and practical framework on the kinds of practical leadership qualities that are required to address many of the challenges and injustices in their respected civilizations.
That is why in this year’s Inter-Civilizational Youth Program, the emphasis will be upon educating the participants about the fundamental aspects of leadership, the importance of taking ownership, sharing their ideas and visions for the future, as well as developing concrete action plans to realize those visions. With this, they will be able to understand how they can have a great impact in shaping the future, and how it is their responsibility to do so.
HOW WILL WE ACHIEVE THIS?Collaborating with JUST in this initiative to educate these young potential leaders will be zubedy (M) Sdn Bhd, a soft skills development company with 20 years of experience in human development and change management.

The Youth Engagement Program itself will utilize elements from zubedy’s core signature programs which are proven effective human development programs. It will educate participants about leadership qualities and how to develop effective strategies to achieve their vision, mission and goals.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE?
With the stated objective in mind, we are pleased to announce that we are starting the process of recruitment for participants.
Please find enclosed the Application form for participants. We would be grateful if the forms duly filled could be returned to the address below by 19 th September 2015.
Upon the successful acceptance of the application, we will send a notice of confirmation to the participant on the 26 th September 2015 . The Confirmation will contain further details of the program, including itinerary and other arrangements.
Information about the selection process
As highlighted previously, the youths themselves will be encouraged to initiate debate and discussion.
Given this emphasis, the organizers have worked out a careful process of selecting participants who have the potential to contribute significantly to the Leadership Program.
The selection process will happen over a few weeks and eventually a total of 50 participants will be selected for the Program. Due to limitation in both space and time, we would like to encourage your nomination as early as possible.
Below are the following requirements for participants who are interested in applying:
Candidates should be between 21 and 30 years of age. Good Command in the English language Good interpersonal and communication skills Awareness in current world affairs Able to exhibit respect and understanding towards other religions and cultures
While the majority cost of accommodation, meals and seminar facilities will be borne by the organizers of IYLP, participants, upon their successful application, will have to pay a Commitment Fee of USD $ 25 (RM 100)
Please note that all OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES and TRAVELLING ARRANGEMENTS will be the responsibility of the participants.
