Cricut Cuts: = Shift key. I recommend setting your speed on high. You may also wish to start offwith a new blade or at least have one handy, as there are some rather fine cuts. Also, Blade and Pressuresettings in this chart are approximate and based on what an average machine would require. You may need to

make slight adjustments depending on how your own machine cuts. The Object-Description column of this

chart shows you the approximate word that should show up on your Cricut screen when you're about to cut, andsome extra descriptive phrases for some of the cuts just to help you out with more info. PLEASE READ

*Your machine may say that this cut wont fit. If so, just hit the Fit to Page key on your machine and itll now cut at 5.

Note about the Just Because Cards Cartridge:To make a card and corresponding envelope as large as possible on your Expression, first cut the envelope with Fit to Page on, and note the

size it calculates to cut. Then remove Fit to Page, set your size dial to the calculated size, and cut your card and accessory pieces. With thiscartridge, its always a good idea to cut your envelope first so that you dont accidentally make a card thats too big for the max sizeenvelope. All of the envelopes in this kit are cut at the maximum size. Also, theres kind of an odd fluke on this cartridge. There may be

some cards on this cartridge (though not made in this kit) that do not fit the envelope as they should. So it might be wise to cut a practicecard and envelope in the future when designing your own cards just to make sure they fit properly.

Assembly Notes:

Cake Card & Envelope:1. Score, fold and glue the Multi-

colored polka dot/Pink

envelope so that the polka dots

are on the outside, and the pink

is on the inside.

2. Use dark brown chalk ink toink all edges of the envelope.

(I used Versa Magic Jumbo

Java.)

3. Score and fold Brown polkadot card so that the brown is on

the outside and the floral is on

the inside.

4. Ink the following Cricut cutswith dark brown chalk ink:

Polka dot scalloped mat, both

layers of cherry, and pink cake. Ink the green you and cake, and then glue these layers to the pink you take the cake.

Now go ahead and ink whats still showing of the pink title, which is take the.5. Attach the polka dot scalloped mat to the brown card base.6. Use 3D pop dots to attach the top brown frosting layer

to the pink cake, and then use a glue pen to attach the

other 2 brown pieces to the cake.

7. Now use 3D pop dots to attach the cake to the upperportion of the card.

8. Attach the you take the cake title to the lower portionof the card.

9. Use a white Signo Uniball gel pen to draw fauxstitching around the outer edge of the card, and add

some white dots to the title, and to the two narrow

brown layer pieces on the cake as well as the cherry.

10. There is a bottle of Bisque color Ranger Liquid Pearlsin your kit. I recommend that you do some practicedots on a piece of scratch paper. When youre happy

with the results, go ahead and then add some to this

card. I added one dot to each corner, and then added

dots along the lower edge of the top frosting layer.

Allow at least 1 hour for the Liquid Pearls to dry.

Rocket Card & Envelope:1. Score, fold and glue the bold striped envelope so that

the bold stripes are on the outside, and the pink hearts

are on the inside.

2. Use dark brown chalk ink to ink all edges of the envelope.3. Score and fold Honey Mustard yellow card so that the polka dots are outside and the solid is on the inside.4. Ink the following Cricut cuts with dark brown chalk ink: Honey Mustard card, youre a blast title in pink and blue, rocket

shadow, all pieces of rocket.

5. Attach brown dotted mat to center of card.6. Layer and attach youre a blast title to upper portion of card.7. Use 3D pop dots to attach the light blue patterned layer of the rocket to the bright blue rocket base. And also use pop dots to

attach the ivory windows and the ivory layer of the flame.

8. Use 3D pop dots to attach the assembled rocket onto its ivory shadow. Then attach the whole thing to the bottom portion ofthe card.

9. Use a white Signo Uniball gel pen to draw faux stitching around the brown mat on the card, and add white dots to the cornersof the Honey Mustard card. Also add white dots to the youre a blast title, and to the blue and pink parts of the rocket.

10. Finally, add Liquid Pearls to the ivory windows, and a few along the wings of the rocket. Let dry.Lady Bug Card & Envelope:

1. Score, fold and glue the Tutupink dotted envelope so that

the dots are on the outside, and

the solid is on the inside.


3. Score and fold Tutu pinkdotted card so that the dots are

on the outside. Ink edges.4. Score and fold brown floral

card layer so that the brown

floral is on the outside, and the

blue is on the inside. Ink

edges.

5. Layer this brown floral cardover the Tutu pink card, and

use your tape runner to attach

ONLY the front piece. Leave

the back un-glued because if

you glue both the front and back, itll be rather stiff to try to open the card.

6. Find the pink grosgrain ribbon in your kit, and cut off about a 20 piece. Wrap this around both layers of the card and tie adouble knot in the front. Trim as desired. (You should see the ribbon on the inside of the card when you open it.)

7. Use dark brown chalk ink to ink the following Cricut cuts: Ivory ladybug shadow, pink lady bug wings, ivory oval mat,honey mustard yellow cute and bug, and green cute as a bug title.

8. Attach the ivory lady bug shadow to the upper portion of the card. Assemble the rest of the ladybug and then use 3D popdots to attach it to its shadow.

9. Attach the ivory oval mat to the lower portion of the card so that it will line up nicely under the as a portion of the title.10. Now layer the cute as a bug title and attach to the lower portion of the card.11. Use a white Signo Uniball gel pen to add dots to the cute as a bug title.12. Add Liquid Pearls to the

ladybugs wings and also one

on each scallop of the front of

the card. Let dry.

Truck Card & Envelope:1. Score, fold and glue the

Grandmas Quilt light blue

patterned envelope so that the

light blue pattern is on the

outside, and the pink pattern is

on the inside.


3. Score and fold the Almonddotted card so that the dots are

on the outside. Ink edges.

4. Ink the following Cricut cuts: Pink scalloped trim pieces, blue A little pick up for you title, ivory truck shadow, and allpieces of truck except for brown.

5. Glue the pink scalloped trim pieces to the left and right edges of the card.6. Attach the wheels and other layers to the truck, but use 3D pop dots to attach the fenders to the truck. Then use 3D pop dots

again to attach the truck to its shadow.

7. Now attach the whole truck to the bottom portion of the card.8. Layer and glue the A little pick up for you title to the upper portion of the card.9. Use a Signo Uniball white gel pen to draw faux stitching around the pink scallop trim pieces. Then add white dots to the title

and truck.

10. Add Liquid Pearls above the i in little and to each wheel on the truck.Coffee Card & Envelope:

1. Score, fold and glue thestriped envelope so that the

stripes are on the outside, and

the pink floral pattern is on the

inside.


3. Score and fold the pink floralcard so that the pink floral

pattern is on the outside and

the stripes are on the inside.

Ink edges.4. Ink the following Cricut cuts:

Blue love, pink latte,

ivory oval mat, ivory coffee

pot shadow, plus blue and

pink layers of coffee pot.

5. Attach the ivory oval mat tothe upper portion of the card,

about from the top.

6. Attach the ivory coffee pot shadow about below that ivory oval.7. Layer the love you a latte title, and glue it at an angle over the ivory oval mat.8. Use 3D pop dots to attach the blue layer to the brown coffee pot, and also to attach the brown coffee pot to the shadow.9. With a white Signo Uniball gel pen, draw faux stitching around the brown part of the coffee pot. Also add white dots to the

title, and the blue spout of the coffee pot.10. Add Liquid Pearls around the ivory oval mat, avoiding the actual title. Then add a row near the pink trim on the coffee pot.

Let dry.

Sheep Card & Envelope:1. Score, fold and glue the green

floral envelope so that the green

floral pattern is on the outside,

and the number pattern is on the

inside.

2. Use dark brown chalk ink to inkall edges of the envelope.

3. Score and fold the yellow floralcard so that the yellow floralpattern is on the outside, and the

house pattern is on the inside.

Make sure that the houses on the

inside are right side up before

you decorate the front of the

card! Ink edges of card.

4. Ink the following Cricut cuts:pink decorative mat, green floral

decorative mat, pink EWE

letters, ivory sheeps coat,

yellow bell.

5. Layer the green floral mat on top of the pink mat.6. Cut a 4 piece of pink grosgrain ribbon and attach it to the green/pink mat combo, wrapping the ends around to the back.

Make sure you leave the front of the ribbon loose, because now you need to cut another 4-5 piece of ribbon, loop it through

the ribbon you just attached, and tie it into a single knot. This creates a faux bow. Trim ends as desired.

7. Now go ahead and attach this mat/ribbon combo to the center of your yellow floral card.8. Layer and attach the thank EWE title to the lower portion of the card.9. Use 3D pop dots to attach the ivory sheeps coat to the brown base. Add the pink collar and yellow bell.10. Then use 3D pop dots to attach the whole sheep to the upper portion of the card.11. With your white Signo Uniball pen, add white dots to the thank EWE title.12. Add Liquid Pearls around the edge of the sheeps coat, and also to each corner of the yellow floral card. Let dry.

What about the insides of the cards?The insides of the cards are not decorated at this point. Some are fairly solid inside, and you could write in them as-is. For the others,

you may wish to add a scrap of one of your solids as a place to write a sentiment. Also, I have included in your kit a half sheet of

decorative cards that go with this paper line. Feel free to cut these up and use them as desired to help decorate the insides. Be

creative and have fun with it!
