Mount Mary: Creative CampusStudents, faculty and staff form a close-knit community where everyone is eager to collaborate and innovate by taking risks with new ideas, working together through complexities, finding solutions instead of solving problems and keeping an open mind about what’s to come in the future. This cooperative and inventive environment will help you strengthen your critical thinking and leadership skills and position you as a leader at the forefront of a competitive marketplace.

“Mount Mary provides opportunities to fuel student creativity by helping us explore our areas of study in new ways.”

Creativity is part of who we are at Mount Mary. A big part.

Together with us, you will learn new and exciting ways to think, to collaborate, to personalize your college experience and to be at the leading edge of your future career.

Most importantly, you’ll appreciate the surprises of discovery and focus less on finding one, perfect answer. Because for us, creativity is about having an open mind—to different ways of learning, living and looking at the world and interacting with it.

At Mount Mary, any future you want to create is possible.

Mount Mary Creates a New Way of Thinking

You’ll get an education at Mount Mary that shapes every part of who you are, because we personalize your academic experience based on how you learn best. Professors get to know you as an individual and care just as much about what’s going on with you outside the classroom as inside it. And with independent research projects, study abroad, service learning and internships, there are plenty of opportunities for you to actively engage with what you’re learning.

Every one of my professors encourages me to go out and get hands-on experience, whether it is through my theology internship, the fieldwork I have done for my education major or the month of study abroad for Spanish. The professors recognize my strengths and encourage me to use those strengths as a leader.

Caroline ScholarshipThe Caroline Scholars program shaped my entire college experience. I was first drawn to it because of the amazing opportunity of full tuition and room and board, but what I gained went far beyond that: a deep understanding of social justice, community involvement and a marvelous support system of women at various stages in their college careers who helped me transition from a timid freshman into an involved sophomore.
