Our Junior Active Membership is just £19.95 per month for ages 0-15. As well as a weekly course or club of your choice it includes unlimited films at the Forum Cinema, unlimited swimming, off peak racquets, under 5’s activities and after school Buzz Clubzz. But that’s not all! You can also benefit from our action packed school holiday activities for FREE and enjoy discounts on parties and our Funzone playscheme.

We also offer a Junior Leisure Card for just £7.80 per year. The Leisure Card is valid for 12 months and gives discounts on most of our activities including year round courses. If you prefer, you can also choose to pay as you go, see individual activity pages for more details on prices.

STAGE DESCRIPTION

All our swimming lessons are delivered in a fun and safe atmosphere, by qualified swimming instructors who have been CRB cleared.

Lessons are continuous and run for 48 weeks of the year so you can enrol at any time!

Tiddlers 1 (4-12 months) Lots of nursery rhymes and toys to encourage movement and water confidence for both parent and infant.

Tiddlers 2 (12-24 months)Offers parents guidance on encouraging swimming skills and continuing to build water confidence.

Tiddlers 3 (24 months+) Encouragement to take those first independent steps in the water, still supported by you.

Pre-school First class where your little one will not be accompanied and will further develop co-ordination and control in the pool.

Stages 1–3 These first stages of swimming will encourage your child to build confidence, start basic practices and learn water buoyancy.

Stages 4-7 Your child will now begin to hone their technique and learn more water survival skills. Awards for distance and safety available.

Stage 8-9-10 Aqua Club

For our very experienced swimmers - At this level you will be improving stamina and learning new water disciplines

We operate inclusive, friendly courses/clubs. The academy caters for all aspiring gymnasts, no matter what their current level of ability or experience.We have a carefully structured range of recreational and development groups, which allow our coaches to • Nurture talent, establish good basic skills, and ensure

our gymnasts develop their natural abilities amongst peers of a similar age and level.

• Gymnasts can be selected by the coaches to join the development squads and compete in competitions.

Our courses are suitable for boys and girls starting with Pre- School Gymnastics from the age of 3 upwards (we also offer ‘Gym Mini Cubz’ gymnastic ‘drop in’ sessions at all 3 sites for children aged 1-3 years).We offer a friendly club environment and are affiliated to British Gymnastics. Children have the opportunity to progress through the BAGA proficiency awards.

@ Lings Forum

The structured courses will introduce young people to trampolining and guide them through the basic skills and work towards proficiency badges.Courses cover all the core skills and basic moves necessary for the development of good trampoline techniques. Courses run on Saturday mornings at Lings Forum for young people aged 4 to 15 years old (we also offer ‘Jumpin Cubz’ trampolining ‘drop in’ sessions for children aged 18 months - 5 years). Parents must spectate from the balcony viewing area and children must wear socks at all times.

Danes Camp Badminton Club is affiliated to Badminton England. This course operates on Thursdays at • 4pm to 5pm for 8 to 11 year olds. • 5pm to 6pm for 12 to 15 year olds. We aim for a friendly club environment and to make badminton fun and sociable with an element of competition for the players who wish to do so as well as providing recreational badminton opportunities. • The club competes against other clubs.• New players of all standards are very

Soft Zone: Unstructured play session for parent and child to enjoy together. Soft shapes, trikes, climbing apparatus and a huge bouncy castle to play on. This is an unsupervised session and parents must accompany children at all times. Refreshments are available.

Rugby Cubz/ Soccer Cubz/ Jumpin’ Cubz/ Boogie Cubz: Under 5s sports sessions in rugby, football, trampolining and dance. Specifically designed and developed for children aged 18 months to 5 years by early years and playwork professionals, in partnership with qualified sports coaches. The sessions gently introduce new skills in a fun, friendly, pressure free environment.

• 18 months to 3 years – must be walking and parent participation is mandatory

• 3 to 5 years – parent participation is encouraged

Gym Mini Cubz: Fun based early years gymnastics and soft play session with movement to action songs and circle time giving parents and children the chance to work towards the British Gymnastics Awards Scheme. Danes Camp community crèche provides short sessional care of up to 2 hours in a safe and happy environment for babies/children (birth to 5 years).

Ofsted registered, our crèche allows parents to either use the facilities within the leisure centre, utilise the time to go shopping, have time with an older child or simply some me time.

Children are looked after by our qualified and friendly staff and the creche is equipped with toys for babies and older children, reading, sand, soft play and drawing equipment.

Bouncy Castle – (Danes, Duston or Lings) For ages 3-12Jump around for an hour on our bouncy castle plus one hours use of a party room (Max number 20).

Cinema – (Forum Cinema – Lings) For all agesBring your DVD and enjoy a private film screening for your child and their friends at the Forum Cinema. Party room available at an additional cost

Splash (Lings, Mounts) For ages 8 and overOne hour of fun in the pool (includes large inflatable), plus one hour use of a party room. Children must be age 8 or above and be able to swim 50m in order to use the inflatable. Splash parties are supervised by qualified lifeguards, please see our pool rules and guidelines. Lings (max number 25) Mounts (max number 40).

Sports (Danes, Duston, Lings). For ages 5-12.One hour of supervised sports of your choice, plus one hour unsupervised use of a party room. Choose from football, indoor hockey, basketball, Kwik cricket, indoor rounders and fun games. Alternatively mix the sports up for the party you want. Max number 20
