Dear Ladies of the Woman’s Club of Winter Park, Inc.,
Summer greetings Woman’s Club members! We hope that you have some fun plans on your summer calendar: travel, the beach, or maybe getting through that pile of books on your nightstand. Our Programs group is firming up speakers and performers for our October 2019 through April 2020 club meeting schedule and, as always, the programs will include something for everyone. Some Thursdays will celebrate the arts and others will offer learning or personal development opportunities on a
variety of subjects. Some, like our annual spring Bingo program is just FUN and a time to socialize with fellow members. Our Membership Tea is set for Thursday, September 19th at 2:00pm and this is the opportunity for you to invite women you have met who may be interested in joining our welcoming club. At the tea, they will have the chance to talk to all of the active committees which help keep our club a vital partner in our community, so please invite that interesting woman who just moved in next door or who is in your workout class to the Membership Tea. In the meantime, our summer weather is the perfect time to clean out closets and cabinets and set aside for donation those still-‐useful-‐but-‐unneeded items to our Rummage Sale (August 31!) which is our biggest fund raiser for local charities each year. Happy summer!
