Words from the Owners

Hey everyone,

Another month is here and another is-sue is out.  It’s amazing to think that just last year around this time, Outside The Box was barely getting started.  Last year for Pride Fest, our humble, little magazine was just a glimmer in Mitch’s and my eye, and now it’s pretty awesome to see how far we’ve come in just a year.  Thanks again to all of you, our readers, for all of your support so far.  Also, special thanks to those of you who came out to our benefit drag show at BJ’s the other night.  Hope you enjoy this month’s issue and all of it’s stories and pictures, and look for-ward to seeing us again at Pride Fest 2010!

ARTEMIS ADVENTURE.

This group is for “Women Who Love the Outdoors” and was founded by Missy for women in the GLBT community with the same passion for the outdoors to find people to go camping. It was started in an attempt to find people to go camping. Experience does not seem to be a fac-tor. It is open to beginners. Those with lim-ited mobility are also encouraged to partici-pate. Artemis Adventure attempts to sched-ule, at least, one event per month. Most are totally free. Special events, or those activi-ties which require special equipment may cost the participant. Every activity, or trip, is preceded by a “Meet and Greet.” This function may be in a coffee shop or a park. Interaction is encour-aged. Every adventure participant must at-tend this meet and greet. This affords all par-ticipants to see who is going to accompany them on their outing. Transportation via car pool is encouraged, however individual ve-hicles are authorized. At present, some equipment may be required - sleeping bag, tent, etc. - but most is provided by Artemis. Eventually Artemis Adventure hopes to provide all the equip-ment necessary. You just show up. For some items Artemis Adventure will also nave an on-line store. Artemis Adventure is extremely eco-friendly. Nature will be respected. Each par-ticipant is ask to bring one non-perishable food item. These items are then donated to a local non-profit organization or the GLBT

food bank. Missy boasts that each camp-site is left in better shape than when they arrived. You are invited to share the out-door experience with the same pas-

sion as the founders. This dream conceived by Missy and her significant other, who has since passed, which has been realized and maintained through the efforts of this orga-nization. Share the experience, embrace your passion with others like yourself. Please un-derstand that, at present, these adventures are for adults only and for only women. Arte-mis Adventure anticipates opening their ac-tivities to all, men and children, in the future. I encourage any women, who have a passion for the outdoors, or who just want to enjoy a good camping trip with other wom-en with the same interests, or those who just want to get away for a pleasant, relaxing weekend, to contact Artemis Adventure. Dancing with the StarsWeeks 1-5

MONDAY Week Ten’s Monday was great! It’s no wonder that DWTS is doing so much better than AI in the ratings. Over the last 4 weeks we’ve seen some amazing talent rise to the top. The final three are as expected: Erin & Max; Evan & Anna and of course Derek & Ni-cole.  I have some questions about the guest performers’ (ahem) “presentation” specifical-ly “Train”. I kept waiting for something, any-thing to happen…alas, it never did. Train’s performance was not only disappointing, but their wardrobe was atrocious. Why is it that Melissa Etheridge, Sarah McLaughlin and Miley Cyrus could dress appropriately and produce and execute a performance that was dance music, whereas Train came out in rumpled, torn and shabby clothes and played music that was in no way good enough for the show or venue? Call me crazy, but one doesn’t wear overalls to the Bolshoi-And for GAWDS SAKE shave & get your hair done. I’m beggin’ ya. I cast my ten votes (two phone lines) thusly; five for Erin and Max; Five for Derek a nd Nicole. At this point in time I believe Derek & and Nicole are the front runners with Erin and Max second, Evan and Anna third. I’m looking forward to Tuesday and the return of the rest of the cast…especially Pammie! TUESDAY Tuesday was wonderful. The concept to bring back the whole cast was brilliant and VERY entertaining! All the cast who danced were much improved...even Kate! She was even SMILING! I have to say that the mem-bers who showed up did well…even Shan-non D.! Kudos to all! All the judges have said repeatedly

that this was the most difficult season to judge because the dancers were all so-o-o-o good. I agree wholeheartedly. I hated to see ANY of the final three go…alas, it was Erin & Max…and they have NOTHING to be ashamed of!  In the end it was down to Nicole & Der-ek and Evan & Anna whose final performanc-es were outstanding to say the very least.  When it was all said & done, Nicole & Derek were the winners.  Congratulations to the final three and especially to Nicole & Derek! I am SO looking forward to DWTS next season although I can-not imagine HOW the producers can EVER top THIS season! Adieu,Anita C.

RESTAURANT CRITIQUEFELIX RASSERIE RESTAURANT

3901 TENNYSON STREET DENVER, CO

Felix Rasserie serves a typical French cuisine for a not so typical

restaurant. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is extremely polite and

service was exceptional.

The menu reflects the restaurant’s commitment to a “French”

dining experience. Soft music is played, there are sports broadcast on the

television screens, and several tables enjoying the excellent food and con-

versation. To compliment the dining is a full bar and an excellent selection of

fine wines.

I found the restaurant quite complimentary, to the French café and

street restaurant, however I was left feeling I needed more. I expected art, or

at a minimum, some sort of photographs displayed on the vacant walls. I was

also not impressed with the paper table cloths.

The food was excellent, the service above my expectations. The

price more than reasonable. Overall, it was an exceptional experience. I rate

this experience at 8 out of 10, due to the lack of visual on the vacant walls and

the proper tablecloths.

I would recommend this restaurant highly to my Denver readers.

Jenae BordeauxThe Inside Scoop on Miss Gay Pride

of All Colorado 2010

Page 7: June Issue

Getting the inside scoop on Miss Gay Pride of All Colorado 2010 was a fun and ex-citing experience for OTB. We wanted a sto-ry that tells all and we got it. OTB was also pleased that we could see Jenae’s talent and magic in front of the camera. Follow OTB’s one on one interview with Jenae Bordeaux to get her inside scoop.

Outside The Box: What does the name “Jenae Bordeaux” represent as a drag queen?Jenae Bordeaux: “Jenae” says entertain-ment. She’s all about the smiles and laugh-ter while on stage. Nothing more rewarding then knowing you touched a few peoples lives, just lip syncing to a song.

OTB: How long has Jenae Bordeaux been alive and around?Jenae: Jenae was birthed in July of 1985. So she has been around almost 25 years. I laugh about it often, but I have been Jenae Bordeaux, longer then I have been Christopher Garcia.”

OTB: As a drag queen what do you do as an entertainer?Jenae: I love to push the envelope, make people wonder when they first see me. I enjoy the shock value of the drag that I do. That goes from my impersonationof Mar-ilyn Manson, to wearing absolutely NOTH-ING. I keep them wondering and guessing, that’s what I do as an Entertainer.

OTB: What locations do you perform at and acknowledgments do you have as an entertainer?Jenae: I perform every Sunday @ Char-lies Denver for Vivid, every 1st and 3rd Friday at Hamburger Mary’s for Dreamgirls, and ev-

ery 3rd Sat at Bj’s for Divalicious. I have held many titles throughout the United States most of them in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where I lived the last 8 years of my life. I have been almost everything under the sun, from bar titles *Miss Matchmaker to 1st alt to Miss Gay USA Classique out of Hickory North Carolina. I am truly a pageant queen at heart. So I stick with what I know.

OTB: Where do you plan on going with the rest of your career as a drag queen?Jenae: I plan on doing what I love and have done for the last 25 years untill I am tak-ing that last breath, lip syncing to “Where’s The Party” by Madonna.

OTB: What do you do to stand out dif-ferently from all of the other drag queens in Colorado as well as others throughout the United States?Jenae: I don’t see myself as different, if you would say. CRAZY yes, but I do what I love to do, entertain, at any cost. Sometimes,

Page 8: June Issue

8

I fall flat on my face and some times, I rise above the occasion. I prefer the latter.

OTB: Are there any characters that you portray in your drag persona?Jenae: Jenae, is the first character, most will agree she needs medicine [Laughs] Then along with that, I imper-sonate Marilyn Manson, and Cher.

OTB: Do you have any drag children? if so who and why did you choose them to be your children?Jenae: I have many queens that I have helped mentor if you want to say, but only two drag chitlins. One would be Ambrosia Christopher, she would be the first and then there is my baby girl Miss Justice Saharra – Bordeaux. She is the only one to carry the last name of Bordeaux. Why those two, you ask, I drink A Lot. NO NO NO I am kidding [Laughs] well Ambrosia is my partner and he’s happy doing drag so that just came along. Justice proved herself to be Versatile, willing to learn, eager to take chances. And step out of her comfort zone. Very much like myself when I first started do-ing this.

OTB: Where did you grow up and live as a child and also the rest of your life?Jenae: I was born and raised in Denver, and I am going to die and be buried in Den-ver.

OTB: Compared to other drag queens, your makeup is really dramatic.  Why do you choose to create Jenae Bordeaux in that man-ner?Jenae: That pretty much just came about. Again I am very much all about theExtremes in life. From my person-al life to my stage life. I love to have people just go “What the Fuck.” It strokes my ego. My mot-to is BLACK EYESHAD-OW is your friend…. DON’T BE AFRAID OF IT!

OTB: Is there any reason behind the music you choose to perform to?

Jenae: I mostly choose it by what I am going through at the time. I have learned to express myself through my music and stage.

OTB: In your drag life, is there any one you have always looked up to as inspiration, if yes, tell us why?Jenae: Where do I start? Nina Montal-do, she is the epitimy of drag, Ginger Sexton, I love the life she brings, always laughing. My late friend Tracy Edwards, she never al-lowed anyone or anything to keep her down. Shanida Lawya, I want to lip sync like her some day. Rosa Marie Sugarbaker, she was the best Drag queen I ever met. She was Miss CGRA at the time, and I was just amazed with it all. Alex Alba, his willingness to have a good time and speaks his mind, screams volumes to me. Sydney Andrews, she is the image of Gay Pride that I long to be. Brandi Roberts, that’s true class. That’s enough because I can go on…..

Page 9: June Issue

9

Great NOW some queens will be pissed that I didn’t mention them.

OTB: Is there any advice you would give to other upcoming drag queens?Jenae: Yeah, what are you thinking, stop while you are ahead ! No really, I would tell them to learn their history, We are Gay Pride at it’s finest. We have a history that is built with in us, that started the Stonewall Riots. Because of Drag Queens, there are benefits to raise monies for Charities. If it weren’t for Drag Queens, people wouldn’t know that this true acting at it’s best. Ask Shakespeare. Because of Drag Queens we have fashion. Look at Nina Flowers, a true trend setter. So when someone asks you why you do drag, tell them

you’re hung like a horse and try as you may, YOU can’t walk in flats ! OTB: As Chris and as Jenae Bordeaux what do you do to keep them separate?Jenae: That’s a tough question. They re-ally never have been separate. I start to tran-sition, and start my Hormone Therapy on 4th of June. It’s a sense of freedom, that I can not describe.

OTB: To go along with question above, what has been the hardest time as a drag queen that you have had to face with trying to keep it separate from your personal life? Jenae: The hardest? I would honestly have to say, there is no true hardest time. I

love it when I go to VIVID on Sunday or Dreamgirls or Divalicious and see familiar faces. Most of them I have built a friend-ship with. When I was younger, my mother taught me that there was nothing in this World that could defeat me, unless I al-lowed it. And frankly, I don’t allow it, and that goes from my HIV status, to FINALLY after a 25 year wait to finally say, I am able to transition and be comfortable enough to talk about it, express it and embrace it. I am very grateful of the audience that stands before me on a weekly basis. They give me their hard earned money because they like what I do. I have always said there is nothing more strange than someone who would give me their money because I stood on stage in a dress. But, I love them for that. It’s like they believe in me. And even if there is a “hardest” time that I can think of. That out weights all of it. So, I am a lucky Chickie Poo, to have a city like Den-ver, enjoy what I do.

So thank you !

On May 8, 2010 Majestic Hearts held their step-down and pageant at the Red Lion Hotel on 4040 Quebec Street in Denver. The step down marked the end to the reign of Mr. and Miss Majestic Hearts 2009/2010, Clark and Cher West. The event was an Arabian Night theme, full of wonderful entertain-ment from other past Mr. and Miss Majestic Hearts, as well as numerous other great per-formers. Of course, the highlight of the eve-ning was the pageant itself, a competition to crown the new Mr. and Miss for 2010/2011. This year, running for Mr. Majestic Hearts were none other than Jamie Alexander and,

Outside The Box’s own, Wendell Swaithes, while OTB’s own, Justice Saharra-Bordeaux and Roxy Fillmore ran for the title of Miss Ma-jestic Hearts. Each contestant competed in a theme-wear category, a talent category and an evening wear category. Competition was tight as each person brought his or her “A” game that night. Each contestant in each cat-egory wore beautiful and well-designed cos-tumes and brought incredible performance skills to the table. However, when all was said and done, Jamie Alexander and Justice Saharra-Bordeaux were crowned the new Mr. and Miss Majestic Hearts for 2010/2011. OTB sat down with Jamie and Justice to get the inside scoop on who they are and what was going on through their heads during the competition. The new Mr. Majestic Hearts, Jamie Al-exander, belongs to the Alexander family, a very renowned drag family of Colorado. Ja-mie is 25 years old, and enjoys many activities from sports to dancing. Says Jamie, “College football is one of my favorite interests, espe-cially when I’m cheering for my alma mater, the University of Southern California. I grew up playing every sport under the sun, includ-ing soccer, baseball, swimming and football”. Jamie’s interests also include, road trips, hik-ing, camping and working out. While attend-ing USC, Jamie also had the opportunity to audition for a talent agency, which led him to some wonderful opportunities to dance for really big names in the industry. “This experience helped remove any stage fright so I was ready to throw everything I had into preparing for and performing at the [Majes-tic Hearts] pageant”, Jamie tells us. Jamie says he jumped at the chance to run for Mr. Majestic Hearts when a fellow member of the Alexander Family told him all about it, “The Majestic Hearts Pageantry represents the power of close friends and community service in our area, offering local performers a stage to raise funds and awareness for de-serving charities. I ran for the title because of the impact service has locally—I can make

a difference by contributing my talent and love for performing”. Miss Majestic Hearts, Justice Saharra-Bordeaux is a 32-year-old Colorado native, who has been a drag entertainer for about a year now. Like Jamie Alexander, Justice also has had experience in the entertainment business prior to being elected Miss Majes-tic Hearts. “When I was younger”, says Jus-tice, “I had a tal-ent agent and I went to several different com-petitions across the United States. I com-peted in dance, modeling, and acting. I was ac-tually request-ed to come to Hollywood to audition for many movies

and TV shows, but I was still attending high school and it wasn’t the right time for me to relocate”. Justice tells us that, as time went on, she began to miss entertaining and per-forming, which is what had brought her to be a drag performer. “I always felt I was born to entertain. These past experiences definitely helped me prepare for the pageant”, Jus-tice tells us. Justice decided to run for Miss Majestic Hearts to make a difference in the community. “I plan to not only educate, but to bring not only the GLBTQ community to-gether, but to also get more of our straight communities involved and educate them about what we do and why we do it”, says Justice. Once Justice and Jamie had chosen to run for the Majestic Hearts title they both set to work to prepare for the pageant. Justice tells us that, “it is a lot of hard work and time getting ready to compete in a pageant”. Jus-tice tells us that besides preparing for rou-

tines, there are also other things one must keep in mind when running for a pageant, “I had to go out and get sponsors to help me pay for the expense of the pageant. Not only is there an application fee, but I needed finan-cial help getting my clothing and accesso-ries”. All the planning sounds like it could be a very stressful experience. Jamie Alexander says, “It was stressful! There was shopping,

careful planning and a lot of prac-tice, but it was worthwhile for such and amaz-ing community organization as Majestic Hearts”. After all the hard work, planning and competing, Ja-mie and Justice finally had the satisfaction of

hearing their names called as the winners as Mr. and Miss Majestic Hearts. The feel-ing must have been so overwhelming that the fact hadn’t quite sunk in for both con-testants that they had, indeed, won. “Hon-estly, I didn’t think I’d won”, says Jamie, “It wasn’t until [Wendell] congratulated me that it started to sinking in”. Justice says, “Once they announced the winner, it was a feeling I can’t explain. It was a mixture of happiness, excitement, contentment, and even a little bit of shock. I knew I had won, but it took a bit to actually hit me that I was the new Miss Majestic Hearts”. Jamie and Justice have a ton of people to thank for helping them with the prepa-ration and moral support throughout the Majestic Hearts competition. “I would love to thank the Alexander family for ALL their help and encouragement as well as my best friend, Jarrod”, says Jamie, “A big thank you to Chyna Alexander, my pageant dresser,

Page 12: June Issue

12

and Scot Alexander, my make-up artist, for all their support along the way. Last but not least, thanks to my amazing boyfriend John for all the love and encouragement he gave me! Also, a big shout to Justice – it’s going to be an amazing year! Roxy, Wendell – we ap-preciate all you do & are excited for a great year together!” Justice would like to thank all of her sponsors: owners of Outside The Box, Mitch-ell Gronenthal, and Bernadette Atencio, friends Wendell Swaithes, House of the Black Rose, Gary Saiz, Amanda Rae Miles, Mandi Monroe, Fantasy, Alegria Atencio, Barbara Savage, Rosie Blankenship, Brenda Mallory, Jonathan Diffey, Jonathan Brink, and Drew MacTavish with DMAC Studio. She would also like to thank Brandi Roberts for do-ing her makeup, Lady Z for designing her theme wear, and her drag daughter Brittany Saharra. “I also would like to thank my hus-band Mitchell for all his love and support”, says Justice, “my mom Barb for always being there for me… my Aunt Rosie… my cousin David… my Mother and Father In Law, Ger-ry and Emma, …and to all my other family members and friends that gave me their love and support”, “my drag mother Jenae Bor-deaux for all her love and support and for taking me as her daughter. “I am honored to be a Bordeaux.” Justice goes on to say, “Ja-mie, Wendell, and Roxy, I am grateful to have your support and friendship, and I am look-ing forward to reigning with you all this year. Lastly, I would like to thank God for making me who I am and giving me the courage and strength to follow my dreams and my heart”. Now as the new Mr. and Miss Majestic Hearts, Jamie and Justice have a lot planned for this year. “We plan on working very hard to raise money for charities and bringing the community together by being out and about in the community and making as many ap-pearances as we possibly can”, says Justice. Jamie tells us, “We are planning a minimum of eight shows and events throughout 2010-11. It all kicks off with a show at BJ’s Carousel

in May but our first June event is Friday, the 4th, at the same location. I will also perform at a charity show for the American Cancer So-ciety at 7 p.m. June 5 at Charlie’s”. Justice and Jamie also plan to hold events across Colora-do to further Majestic Hearts’ reach and char-itable efforts. “We appreciate all the support from Outside The Box readers and look for-ward to meeting many of you at upcoming events”, says Jamie, “Look for us at Pride Fest 2010”. Lastly, Jamie and Justice would like to leave our readers with these final words. “Thank you everyone for your love and sup-port. Please feel free to come up and say hello when you see us out”, says Justice, “We would also appreciate your support and help in making our community even better and helping us to raise money for the many char-ities that work hard in order to help others who are in need”. “If you set your mind to anything, you can ac-complish anything, and remember to always smile,” says Jamie, “Life is too short”.

Who’s Who A Colorado native is going to Cologne, Germany to represent the United States in the Gay Games. These games are held every 4 years. To date these games have been held in San Francisco, Vancouver, New York, Am-sterdam, Sydney and Chicago. The purpose of the Federation of Gay Games is to foster and augment the self-re-spect of lesbians and gays throughout the world and to engender the respect and un-derstanding for the non-gay world, primarily though an organized international partici-patory athletic and cultural event held every four years, and commonly known as the Gay Games. The Gay Games was originally to be called the Gay Olympics. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the U.S. Ama-teur Sports Act of 1978 gave the U.S. Olym-pic Committee (USOC) exclusive rights to the word Olympic. The Gay Games is the world’s largest sporting and cultural event organized by and specifically for LGBT athletes, artists, musi-cians, and others. It welcomes participants of every sexual orientation and every skill level. Originally called the Gay Olympics, it was started in San Francisco in 1982, as the brainchild of Tom Waddell, whose goals were to promote the spirit of inclusion and par-ticipation, as well as the pursuit of personal growth in a sporting event. These games demonstrate talents in Ice Skating, Volley-ball, Swimming, Diving, and so many other recognized sports. Gay Games VIII will be held in Cologne, Germany from July 31 to August 6, 2010. This marks the second time the games will be hosted in Europe. The first being in Amster-dam in 1998. Ryan Wilcox, one of our own Colorado

By: Wendell Swaithes

r e s i d e n t s , will be at-tending the games this year. Ryan, is a Colorado native, born in Canyon City, Colo-rado. And, although he has traveled extensively

throughout the U.S. he now resides in Denver. Ryan is an amateur ice skater. He has a passion for freestyle. He started at age 14, but due to an injury at the age of 16, which left his ankle crushed, was forced to abandon this sport. However, after so many years absent he again started skating again in 2007. Since then he has competed in the International Skating Insti-tute (ISI), as a recreational skater, where he won medals for artistic spotlight (dramat-ic expression) and skated with the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA). Locally, he has also been acknowledged for his skating, artistic interpretation and com-pulsory movements. Like so many athletes, Ryan has been exposed to hardship and personal life chal-lenges. At an very young age he was diag-nosed with AIDS. Diagnosed at a time when this was considered a “death sentence.” Like many others, he too accepted this diagno-ses and prepared to die. But, after a decade waiting, and new treatment was discovered, which extended the life of AIDS victims. With this “new lease on life” he was faced with what to do with the life he has been given.

Page 14: June Issue

14

Remarkably he became very creative. Turn-ing this hardship into a reason to express and project. Ryan in all his creativity and artistic ex-pression, is making a statement. A message for people living with HIV and AIDS. He is a survivor. His living with HIV has given him incentive, not only to accept the fact he is liv-ing, but to create, and give back to those who feel they are less important, by being diag-nosed with this virus, and providing hope. He is setting standards, and becoming an ex-ample. He has felt the personal loss. So many close to him have long since gone, due to this virus. He says that the most difficult chal-

lenge was to go from “AIDS and dying to AIDS and aging.” Ryan will be attending the Gay Games, in Cologne, Germany. He will be represent-ing the United States. He wishes to thank his coach Caitlin Brozna. Her training and inspiration has taken him this far. Also to his doctor, Dr. Ben Young with the Global Travel Health Medi-cine and the amazing new AIDS clinic Rocky Mountain Cares Center for keeping him healthy enough to make this journey, but also for providing the transportation to and from the Gay Games. Ryan has discovered, all to well, that this kind of commitment takes more than just time and training. It is also very expen-sive. Should you wish to help Ryan along his

quest, please contact him at [email protected], or if you have a Pay-Pal account contact [email protected]. Ryan is looking forward to competing, and for the opportunity to share stories and experiences with others from around the globe. OTB wishes Ryan the best of luck and expect him to bring back more medals. I want details Ryan.

Joy’s

Cor

ner

Spring has finally sprung! I mentioned about April showers bringing May flowers in my previous corner and my early spring plants have really made a very nice show. To prepare these plants, I started last fall by cultivating the plots where I put the plants and adding soil additives like decom-posed animal manure, humus, mushroom compost, and peat moss. The purpose of these additives is to loosen the soil, enrich-ing it at the same time. Soil here in Colorado is mostly clay and tends to get harder yearly so it is very important to enrich the soil regu-larly, preferably every year. Last fall I planted different bulbs for spring blooming: Oriental hyacinths, differ-ent colors of tulips, daffodils, oriental and ti-ger lilies, alliums and brodiaeas. I trimmed most of my perennials like peonies, lavender, poppies, helianthus, creeping phlox, candy tuft, keys to heaven, autumn joy sedum, hollyhocks and painted ladies, to mention a few. This spring, I pruned my roses of dead stems, which were quite more than a few, making sure I don’t get pricked by their large thorns. With all the moisture coming down to earth and with proper care, these roses will sure make an outstanding show of blooms by summer.

I also pruned fruit trees like apples, pears, peaches and apricots to ensure boun-tiful fruits, as long as the squirrels don’t get the fruits first. Shrubs like lilacs, snowball, rose of Sharon, mock orange, and bridal wreath spirea were also trimmed and shaped after blooming last year. Two big ash trees in the front yard were cut down this year because of all the mess the seedpods do year after year and all the seedlings that grow from these seedpods. There were even tree seedlings that grew in the gutters before my husband cleaned the gutters! I was sorry to see them cut down but, at my age, I don’t have the energy and strength to pull or get rid of all the seedlings that grow from the seedpods that number in the millions collectively year after year. The following pictures show some of these plants in my yard. Lastly, about the project I mentioned in recent articles about the swing, I’m still working on it and I’m hoping to finish the project before the end of summer. I’ll keep you posted on it and other future ones. En-joy summer!

AND SURELY GOD WILL PULL U THROUGH

LET HIM TAKE YOUR HEART OFF THAT SHELF

GIVE HIM ALL OF YOUR POWER

EVEN THOUGH IT WAS HIS FROM THE START

B4 U KNOW IT, HE WILL HAVE HEALED YOUR HEART

DON’T GIVE UP AND DON’T GIVE IN

THERE’S NO WAY THAT SATAN WILL EVER WIN

THINK YOU’RE THE CUSP OF FAILURE AND READY 2 DIE

DROP DOWN 2 YOUR KNEES AND GIVE GOD A TRY

DOING IT YOUR WAY MAKES IT HARDER IN EVERY WAY

ALSO DON’T STOP TRYING ‘TILL GOD TAKES U UP AND AWAY

NOW OUT OF THE DESERT AND N2 PARADISE

NO MORE DO YOU HAVE 2 LURK IN NASTINESS

GOD WILL SURELY HELP U 2 RISE

DOUBTS AND UNSUREDNESS CAN WILL ONLY TAKE U FURTHER AWAY

U HAVE 2 GOT 2 LET GO AND DO IT GOD’S WAY

AGAIN, DON’T GIVE UP AND DON’T U DARE GIVE IN

HOLD ON 2 GOD AND YOU SHALL SURELY WIN

JUST LET GO AND LET GOD

THAT’S WHAT I’M LEARNING 2 SAY

WE’LL ALWAYS COME OUT ON TOP WHEN WE

DO IT GOD’S WAY!!!
