In Response to Tornados in Texas and Oklahoma, UCC’s Outreach Committ ee approved sending $10,000 to Week of Compassion. Individual contributions are still being accepted; make check to UCC for “WOC” or “tornado relief.”

This Morning We Welcome Margie Quinn, a Peace Intern with the Disciples Peace Fellowship. Margie will spend this summer traveling across the country to serve on staff at Disciple church camps where she will educate youth and adults about peace and social justice issues.

Buy Stock in Youth Mission Trips today at the table in the Gallery. At $10 per share, the stock you buy helps fund work projects on the trips and earns an invitation to the Shareholders Luncheon for a recap of the trips at the end of the summer.

Sound System Changes are Coming! It’s been many decades since the current speakers were installed in the Sanctuary and there have been big advances in sound technology during that time. We’re working with one of the leading consultants in worship acoustics and are right now in the design stage of a project that will replace all the speakers and upgrade other parts of the Sanctuary sound system.
