In addition to having a great time at the Wine Festival, take a few minutes to explore downtown Ottawa with its historic architecture, many unique shops and restaurants and lush streetscaping. Stroll up LaSalle Street for a few blocks to visit Washington Park – the site of the first Lincoln-Douglas Debate in 1858 – recognized with a beautiful fountain and original statues of Lincoln and Douglas. The City of Ottawa has worked closely with its key partners – the Illinois Grape Growers and Vintners Association, the Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Ottawa Visitors Center to organize the 2013 Ottawa Two Rivers Wine and Jazz Festival for your enjoyment.

LOBSTER FEST

Prepare your palette for a taste of the good life. Maine lobster, flown in fresh and prepared perfectly, right there, on the spot! Each “crustacean sensation” weighs in at an average 1.25 lbs. and was pre-ordered on-line. Get your lobster coin at check-in and queue up when you’re ready to eat. Served with fresh corn-on-the-cob, fresh bread and REAL butter! Lobster will be served Friday 5-9, Saturday 1-9 and Sunday 1-5. Drive up service will be available on the west end of the Jordon block before you head over the bridge! (Limited quantities available for sale at the fest. Visit our ticket booth for availability and cost.)

Court Street is dedicated to the green thumb in all of us - showcasing perennials, unique garden art, one of kind hand made botanical crafts, flowering art, gardening demonstrations, exquisite outdoor living displays...and so much more!
