The Big Smoke 2 The Serra Club of North Central ND sponsors The Big Smoke July 9. Family-focused event supports vocations to the priesthood and religious life in the Bismarck Diocese. Begins with 5 pm, Mass with Bishop David Kagan offici-ating. A barbecue feed and meatsmoking contest; ten teams cooking in competition with each other; each team includes a priest, deacon, monk, or other religious figure. A silent auction, a bounce house, games and meal w/ three kinds of smoked meat, Cole slaw, potato salad, baked beans, dessert and beverages, including Father Justin Waltz’s home brew. New Lions can Register Now! Registration for all students entering Preschool through High School in 2018-2019 is now open at Bishop Ryan Catholic School! In our preschool program, spots are still available in our half-day afternoon classes, and to register, children must be bathroom-trained and three-years-old by July 31, 2018, for the two-day and three-day half-day classes, or four-years-old by July 31, 2018, for the five-day half-day class. Registration for the 2018 BRCSF Golf Scramble is Now Open! It’s a 1:00pm shotgun start on Monday, June 25th, for the 28th annual Bishop Ryan Foundation Golf Scramble at the Vardon Golf Club. Holy Father Collection

The 2018 Collection for the Holy Father (Peter's Pence) is scheduled to take place on June 30th– July 1st in all

parishes in the Diocese of Bismarck. The purpose of the Peter's Pence Collection is to provide the Holy Father

with the financial means to respond to those who are suffering as a result of war, oppression, natural disaster,

and disease. Envelopes will be available at the doors and in the gathering space. Please give as you are able.

Parish Schedule Adjustments

On June 26th and 29th there will be no 12:15 Mass, instead a communion service will take place..

On June 29th the parish office will be closed due to the yearly parish inspection done by Catholic Mutual.

For the 4th of July holiday, the parish office will be closed July 4-6th.

July 9-12 Father Waltz will be on retreat, and Father Krebs will be teaching at the Cor Christi program at the Uni-

versity of Mary. Please check our Mass schedule on the front of the bulletin for any possible communion services

during these times.
