JUNE 22, 2021

The following list of projects were developed after completing extensive

walkthroughs at each Building using the SED mandated Building Condition

survey, which are required by School Districts to be completed every 5 years.

After projects were identified, meetings were scheduled with the District

Administration, Building Principals, the Athletic, Fine and Performing Arts, FACS,

Technology, Security and Maintenance Departments The list was updated and

budgets were given to each item. At that time the projects totaled over

$240,000,000. After further review and discussions, the list was set up in a

priority order, based on useful life expectancy and on input from the Building

Principals and Departments. Emphasis was put on projects that related to

health and safety and mechanical ventilation. The list was reduced to the

projects listed below and to a dollar amount that coincides with the retiring debt

from past Bond issues.

All rooms that do not currently meet New York State Education Dept.

mechanical ventilation requirements will be upgraded to provide mechanical

ventilation and fresh air. This includes all small offices and classrooms with

radiators and no means of mechanical ventilation. Upgrade and replace

older and antiquated H & V units throughout the District.
