THE DIRECTIONS

BLESSINGS AND GREETINGS TO ALL!

Hi everyone! It seems like an eternity has passed since my last Newsletter in

which I shared the initiation process of the Fifth - Seventh Paths I was and still

am undergoing.

In writing, my thoughts take me back to our last fire ceremony in December

on the Winter Solstice - just six months ago. Looking back, it was the calm

before the storm.

As we entered the North Direction, the winds of the Nor'easter of change

came bellowing down upon us and society, bringing in a pandemic of illnesses

that has paralyzed and halted our lifestyles and our country, (death and

destruction) and is spotlighting the rebirth of social epidemic injustice issues

issues motivating us to re-examine and redefine our country, our history, our

mores, biases, practices and values. And throughout this we are required to

wear masks! No wonder beginning in September my guides were brutally

telling me to "slow way, way down - to come to a standstill. Trust. Rest, all

will become clear." Wow!

So how do we navigate these tumultuous times as this chaotic ball of energy

keeps plummeting us? This is a question I have journeyed on many, many

times. Basically what I have been receiving from my guides: "stay the course",

"don't overextend", "make time for you", "listen, listen and listen some more",

"get out in nature daily", "stay grounded", "do not get caught up in the

energetic frey"; "observe, watch, and listen". I have been shown two scenes

many, many times: (1) a grounded woman with the wind blowing around and

through her as she juggles many balls in the air. The woman appears to be at

peace. (2) a forest interspersed with tall pine trees; Native Americans from

many tribes riding pinto ponies. As we ride I see our backs as they surround

me keeping me in the middle. We are going beyond all frontiers and our spirits

literally go through the trees. There is no talk. Just the sounds of nature. We

communicate telepathically. We are at peace as we ride to this new place in

time.

It is obvious these are very power filled times. It is a time of great self-

examination and I encourage you to take time for yourself - perhaps

redefining your attitudes, mores - doing a complete review. There is great

strength in knowing who we are! It does require courage to begin the

process of identifying the multiple masks we wear as we strip away our veils

of illusion searching for our authentic self through the lens of rawness as we

confront our death and rebirth. As we strip away our masks we remove the

illusions in which we reside. As an aside, I do find it quite ironic that as a

society we are "required" to wear masks. I ask the rhetorical question: What

doctrine(s) of illusion(s) are we as a society being guided toward? An excellent

question to journey on I would think!

I will conclude with the lyrics of a Michael Jackson song.

Take a look at yourself, and then make a change!

Change, real change, birth, rebirth, the phoenix rising out of the ashes kind of

change, is a choice and begins within each of us. It cannot be forced. It cannot

be legislated. We cannot change people. People must change themselves. And

to create deep-rooted change, well it begins with "me" - The Man in the

Mirror!

SUMMER SOLSTICE - SOUTH DIRECTION

Every season has its gifts and lessons for us

to learn and receive. It is wise to learn and

identify the gifts and lessons of all four

seasons.

This coming Saturday, June 20th, we

welcome in the Summer Solstice. We are

aware that means it is the longest day of

the year (northern hemisphere), meaning

the day contains the most daylight of the

year. Grandfather Sun is in his fullness and

richness at this time. And although we celebrate the light, symbolically we are

preparing for the coming days of darkness (introspection) as each day the light

of day becomes dimmer until the Winter Solstice.

THE SOUTH DIRECTION is the place of the season of Summer. The South

Direction is about adolescence, learning, passion, emotion, physical strength,

vigor and undisciplined idealism.

However, when I think of the South Direction I think of HEART, generosity,

sensitivity to the feelings and emotions of others, noble passions and love.

When speaking of "love" from a South Direction perspective, it is more like a

first found love, first new love, a young undisciplined love.

In the South we explore Idealism. Idealism is an emotional response to the

beauty or the ugliness of our world. Idealism is NOT necessarily rooted in

spiritual insight. Idealism is an emotional response to what appears to be

"good" or what appears to be "bad". Idealism contains aspects of love, loyalty,

generosity, compassion, kindness AND/OR the capacity to be angry at the

world's injustices, repulsed by violence; conjuring feelings of anger,

resentment, hurt - a proverbial emotional merry-go-round of reactions to

what is good or what is evil and/or harmful. It can include change that is based

on undisciplined, intense high EMOTIONAL responses.

So what tools do we have to guide us through this turmoil? Our Creator has

provided for that. Nature.

As we leave one Direction and enter another it is not like a faucet we can

switch on and off. Our spirit, body and mind needs to acclimate to the change

of the rhythm of the new cycle.

Spend time in nature noting how she adapts. Go for walks, hikes, sit on the

beach and watch the waves (element of water), listen to the wind (element of

air), spend time in nature speaking to a tree (element of earth) and time in the

sun (element of fire). In doing so we are calling upon nature, the elements and

the hidden folk to assist us with our acclimation to the seasonal change.

Ask Mother Earth to help you hear her heartbeat asking her permission to tap

into her rhythm adjusting yours with hers, or the rhythm of your land,

recalibrating your rhythm to sync with your surroundings.

If you live in an area where you have "critters" or if you have animals, note

how they easily adapt to the new season and its cycle. What is their behavior -

physical, emotional and mental? Do they eat more or less? Do they sleep more

or less? Do they have more or less energy during this time? Do the same with

your spirit, body and mind. Check its temperature. Listen to the voice deep

within. Follow it.

Take Journeys helping you to acclimate your rhythm, spirit, body and mind, to

the season of change!

Journey to the disease or issue you are struggling with.

Journey to and/or with your Power Animal or Teacher Guide asking anyquestion you wish or just to hang out in non-ordinary reality with them. Thisis a great way to create a bonding relationship.

prosperity. May you walk your sacred path

upon this earth always clothed in beauty!

2020 WORKSHOPS

SHAMANIC JOURNEY WORKSHOPS will be

reopening in August. Maximum student

capacity will be four. Must be pre-registered -

tuition pd in full guarantees your spot. If you

are not feeling well on day of class, notify us and

tuition will be held for another class or in some

cases refunded. No last minute walk-ins will be

accepted. Class instruction will mostly be held

outside in the patio or garden; however, there

will be some inside instruction. Masks will be

required. Temperature will be taken. No drinks or refreshments will be

served. Bring what you need - especially water.

Shamanic Journey Workshops will be divided into three parts, each part

containing four hours of instruction. (Note: In order to take additional advance

shamanic training, you must have completed all three parts.)

ADVANCED SHAMANIC WORKSHOPS

I am aware many of you are waiting for the advanced shamanic training

workshops to open. I am hoping by September we will be able to accomodate.

So in advance I thank you for your patience and understanding. If this helps: I

will be teaching in Glendora throughout 2021. Our Arizona facility has been

extended a year.

In order to take Soul Retrieval training you MUST have had the following

training: Spiritual Intrusions/Extraction and Psychopomp/Death & Dying. No

exceptions please.
