Notes:
Each day will consist of about an hour of skills, drills, and sport specific conditioning. Afterwards we will do about an hour of resistance training and some mobility work. We encourage our student-athletes to attend as many days as possible, but fully understand if they are unable to attend. Regardless of if the student athelete plans on trying out for Heights or wants to continue with another year of YAFL, we encourage all student-athletes to come out and get some exposure to our program.
We plan on keeping about 30 players on our roster. At the end of the first week of try outs we will make the large majority of our cuts based off of player performance. This summer program will help to assure that each player is performing to the best of their ability. I would like to know that all 7th graders are playing this year and recieving enough time to improve. With the program of YAFL being offered I will encourage the large majoirty of 7th graders to partake in that program. I plan on collecting all the upcoming 7th grade students numbers and having a discussion with their parents prior to the season on what I believe would be best for their child.
I hope to see you all out for the summer months and hope to continue having sucess
Respectfully,
Coach Sokolosky
