24 hour Akhanda Kiirtan

On 2nd and 3rd June monthly 24 hour Akhanda Kiirtan was held at the village Chargali of Dakshin Pratyanta Anandana-

gar. Tattva Sabha and Narayana Seva (Mass Feeding) were followed.

Free Rice seed distribution

On the 4th June, high yeild rice seeds were distributed to 210 families for free in Anandanagar by Acarya

Rtabuddhananda Avadhuta, the Genl. Farm Secretary, Central. 15 KG Bag was given to each family of the surroundering

villages of Anandanagar.

Six hours Akhanda Kiirtana

On 5th June, six-hour Akhanda Kiirtan program from 9 am to 3 pm organised by VSS at a village Karmatand. The

local students and Public got interested in it. They attended Yoga classes and medical camp also. 100 women and 30 men

attended the yoga classes. 100 patients were treated. Mass feeding (food for all) was done and more than 800 people were

fed.

Three hours Akhanda Kiirtana

On 12th June three hour Akhanda Kiirtan followed by Narayana Seva at the the Indane gas godown of Chitmu village

was done.

Overseas Margii visit

13th June One Margi brother from USA named Balaram made a short visit to Anandanagar. He visited Archologi-

cal places and different service projects. He enjoyed his short trip.

Developmental Meetin Held

On 17 June there was a development meeting with the villagers of Dimdiha, Chotka and Ghagra. The matter pertaining

to development of local area and local Ananda Marga Primary schools were discussed

Three hour akhand Kiirtana

On 19 June, a three-hour Akhanda Kiirtan was performed in Baba's memrial. Students have participated. Narayana Seva

was followed.

Selection test for skill development training held

19 th June 2016 there was a selection test for free skill development training in top manufacturing industries. This was or-

ganised by Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha, Anandanagar. There will be two years certificate program in manufacturing

technology. Certificates will be awarded by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) for the successful candi-

dates. Monthly stipend ranging from Rs 7000 to Rs 10000 with free insurance, medication, study material, uniform and

shoes and safety kits will be provided. Training will be given by NTTF under Government of India’s National Employ-

ability Enhancement Mission (NEEM). 216 candidates appeared for the test and 66 stundets were selected. This was the

2nd test and the first selection test of such type was held on 13 th March 2016.

Sad demise of Baba's Ex. Personal Assistant

On 19th June Acarya Ramananda Avadhuta expired. On 20 th June Ac Narayanananda Avt and Ac Muktananda Avt paid

homage to the mortal body of Ac Ramananda Avt. Also they participated his funeral programme.

Marriage held as per Anandamarga Caryacarya

On 20 June, there was a marriage according to Ananda Marga Caryacarya at the village Chitmuh. The bride was Champa

Garai daughter 0f Bhola Garai of Sidhaband village of Dhanbad district and the bridegroom was Tarun Garai, son of Nitai

Garai of Chitmu village of Anandanagar. Ac. Muktananda Avadhta and Ananda Devaprana Acarya conducted the mar-

riage ceremony. Villagers were enlightened.

International Yoga Day held

On 21 June, Ananda Nagar VSS organised Yoga Divas celebration at the Government sponosred High school in the

village Bararola. There were two sessions - one for juniors and another for seniors. In total 1000 students participated.

Umanivas Didi Avadhutika Ananda Anumaya Ac. explained the importance of Yoga and Kaoshiki dance. Ac. Muktanan-

da Avadhuta explained about Yoga and Tandava Dance. Sufficient demonstrations were shown to the students in the two

sessions.

Electric connection wotk continues

Work for the electric connection at Madhu Murcchana Baba Quarter of Koushiki of Dakshin Pratyanta Anandanagar is

going on.

Drinking water project

Well digging work for the drinking water at Khepiyakuli, Guridih village of Paschim Pratyanta Anandanagar is complted.

Now the villagers are very happy using the drinking water from this well.

Repairing work of LiilavatiinSayar continues

Liilavati Sayar repairing work at the Uttara River has been started. This poroject is sposered by Ac. Nitysuddhyananda

Avt.

First Diocese Seminar held

The 1 st Diocese seminar was held at Anandanagar from 24 to 26 June 2016. Trainers were Ac Sarveshvaranandaji and

Ac Mohanananda Avt. More than 300 Margiis attended the seminar and got enlightened. There was three hour Kiirtan

before starting the seminar. Everyday Nagar Kiirtan was also done.

Revolutionary marriage heldOn 27 th June 2016, there was a wedding ceremony according Ananda Marga Caryacarya at Chitmu village. Bride is Nisha Kumari, D/o Sadhu Nayak from Bokaro, Jharkhand and bridegroom is Ashok Gorain, S/o Sitaram Gorain, of Chitmu village, Anandanagar. Ac Mohanananda Avt and Avadhutika Ananda Devaprana Acarya conducted the ceremo-ny.

Construction of Boundary wall of Prashantika compund completed

Boundary wall of Prashantika compund, near Pundag is completed. It was carried out by General Farm Depart-

ment.
