2014 Chapter Officers Hello ROCK'N RIDERS CHAPTER,
It seems there is some problem with our name and
some believe that not all members had the chance
to vote. However, there were nearly 40 members
at the meeting when the vote was taken which is
more than most meetings. Maybe some of those
who voted are having Buyer’s Remorse and now
do not want the change??
AND the whole no change is why there is a lack
of participation and growth, in my opinion. We as
your Board of Directors are trying hard to do
what we can to "ride and have more fun", by
lightening the work load on a few. If you would
like to see more changes please step up and help
out. If you want NO changes step up and become
an officer and make that happen. Maybe I am be-
ing harsh or perhaps I simply misunderstand what
you as members want from me. I am only doing
what I was elected to do which is lead Rock 'N
Riders Chapter into the coming two years of rid-
ing and having fun. Fun is the only reason I ride.
When the fun goes out of riding I may as well
hang up my chaps and fade away, however I am
not fading away anytime soon. Life is to short
to not enjoy this group or
Pioneer Chapter. I know it will
happen and I may not get
it all done so with your help
and support lets have fun.

2014 “HOT” Training Deja Vu Productions working in tandem with Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in sunny Las Vegas, was one of the locations across the country to host the
2014 HOG Officer Training or HOT.
Six of our ROCK’ N RIDERS Officers attended that training.
Some GREAT ideas came out of that training opportunity!
One of the biggest & best ideas was to com-bine the ROCK'N RIDERS Membership direc-tory with a brand new CHALLENGE BOOK!! ALL of the different pages were compiled by Steve & Jeanette Beaty and then re-formatted and assembled by Yours Truly!
Pick up your ROCK'N RIDERS Challenge Book at one of the meetings! *Photos by Jeanette Beaty &

This photo & the one of the Jacobi’s are
already in the printed Newsletter, but I
was told at the general meeting that
neither photo are actually from the HOT
training. To remove them now would be
more trouble than
it’s worth.
So... my apologies.

Without your writings and photographs, there is no Hog Corral Newsletter! The Chapter Officers generally have some information that needs passed on to Chapter mem-bers but the real interesting stories comes from YOU – the Chapter members, so send in your road stories, tell us about your Harley, anything that your fellow Harley riders may find interest-ing. And don’t worry about spelling and grammar! I can sort that for you – just get your thoughts down on paper. Please, in the subject line put what it’s for. Example: If you put “Poker Run” there might be 2-3 Poker Runs that month, so please put Salem Poker Run, or Silverton Poker Run. Due to space I may occasionally have to reduce the amount of words submitted, but will print articles in their entirety, if possible. Images may be cropped ‘artistically’ to fit the layout. I would ask that you submit all text and images in electron-ic format by email to: [email protected]. I use a PC using ‘Adobe Publisher’ for the desktop publishing, ‘Adobe Pho-toshop’ to import and manipulate images and ‘Microsoft Word’ to import your text. Final Note: I cannot emphasize enough that your magazine will be a shadow of what it could be without your involve-ment. Tell us about your latest ride, your bike, technical tips, latest tattoo in fact anything connected to the worlds of bikes and riders—and don’t forget the pictures! Just as the ole saying goes “a pictures worth a thousand words”.
Have a Happy Father’s Day!!

What is a chapter?
Chapters are local organizations sponsored by the Interna-
