Dear Members and Friends of the St. Peters

    Family:

June. At the end of this month were half way

through another year. Does that seem as

incredible to you as it does to me? Time

seems to be passing by at a breakneck speed.

June. Schools soon out and summer

vacations are beginning. Vacations are a

wonderful change of pace from the rest of the

year. Hopefully your vacation days are a time

to recharge and relax and rest and come back

to work and school reinvigorated and

    renewed.

June. This is the month our high schools will

hold graduations and our youth will begin a

new chapter in their lives as they prepare for

further education or work or military service.

Its an important milestone in the lives of

these youth. We hold them in our prayers in

these days of celebration and transition.

June. The month of the festival of Pentecost

and day of Confirmation for six of our St.

Peters youth. This is the day when they will

make a public profession of their faith and

move from child membership to confirmed

membership in the church as they take on

    greater responsibility in the church.

June. Its summer, and yet, we still gather

every Sunday to worship God and study His

Holy Word. See you in church!

In joyful partnership with you in Christs

    service,

    Pastor Leon A. Rawl

Dear Pastor Rawl and Members of St. Peters,

I would like to thank you for your visits, cards, calls and yourloving support over the years and during the passing of my dad, F.Raymond Meetze. We love our St. Peters family.

    Blessings,Margie Bundrick and Family

Dear Pastor Rawl and St. Peters Congregation,

Thank you so much for the prayers and very generous donation of $1,645.00 for buildingmaterials to The Hope and Life School in Ouro Fino, Brazil. David has worked very hard buildingthis school and homes for the street kids. He uses all money and resources very wisely.

As we were leaving Brazil he told us that we got more work completed than he dreamed hewould. We were all blessed by going to the project and helping out. The best blessing was that wehad good health while we were there.

Dwight and I are truly blessed to be in this congregation that is so loving, sharing and car-ing.

Thanks again,Dwight and Kay Davis Amick

    Dear Christian Friends,

Thank you for your generous donation to our church family. It has been almost a yearsince we started on this journey, and we have many baby steps to go. With your help, we are ableto continue on our journey to grow in our Christian faith.

Thank you again for your thoughtfulness and friendship.

    New Hope Lutheran Church

Dear St. Peters and Friends,A big thank you goes out to all who helped with the snack sack ministry this year. The

ministry would not be successful with out the love and care of our members (and non-members)who provided bags, food, money, holiday treats, packing, delivering and purchasing. We served127 students this year and look forward to 2014-2015 as we provide food for hungry children.

    Dear St. Peters,

The family of Bernice Harmon acknowledges with deep appreciation your kind expressionof sympathy.

With Love,Linda Ballington and Tommy Harmon

    Thank you!

A huge thank you to everyone for all the help with Relay for Life. We had 172 Luminarybags! The bags were beautiful and a special thanks to Kathy Love for cutting hearts with a crossand labeling each bag.
