From the East: The District Ritual Competition Team is headed to Winter Park Lodge to compete in the St ate Competition. We pray that they will all have clear thinking and good recollection as they compete on behalf of ou r lodge. They will only know which part they are competing for on the night be fore so they have been practicing al l of the possibilities. If you can make it down there to watch and support the team, please do. They will appreciate the support. Many of the members of this lodge will be travelling to Orlando for the 182 nd Grand Communica tion in Orlando. If you are curious about the process or just want to join in the fellowship, the event is open to all Mas ter Masons. The awards and Grand Lodge Officers Installation are open to non-masons as well. Right Worshipful Danny Griffith will move up from Junior Grand Warden and be installed as Senior Grand War den. Most Worshipful Elmer Coffman will remain Gra nd Treasurer. Our own Junior Warden, Brother Corey Kosciusko will be installed as District Inst ructor for this year. Right Worshipfu l Rudy Boatwright will move from Grand Tyler to State C hairman of Masonic Leade rship Training . I want to thank Righ t Worshipfu l Jerry Austin for service as this past year’s District Deputy Grand Master and Right Honorable Randy Rogers for service as this past year’s District Instructor. Now that we are into full summer, the lodge’s tradition is for the officers to switch to wearing lodge polo shirts for the Stated Communication s. We will still wear Blue Jack ets and ties for the Called Communications and Official Visits. We have two Called Communications scheduled for this month. Brother Richard Bilyard II will sit in the East for a Fellow Craft Degree on the 13 th . Brother DJ Levy will sit in the East for an Entered Apprentice Degree on the 27 th . Please se e both of these brothers about helping with these degrees. Our new District Instructor will hold a School of Instruction at Riverside Lodge on the 15 th . The 11 th and 12 th Masonic District Association will be at Riverview on the 27 th . Please come out and join us at these events. . Secretary’s Corner Brothers, It seems like there are two things that I harp on all the time. Dues – There are still 70 members of Orange Park Lodge who have not paid their dues for 2011! It’s easy to see if you are one of the 70. Right now, look at your dues card. If it does not say 201 1 you are one of the 70. Email address – Right now I do not have email addresses for 128 members of our Lodge. If you are not sure if I have your current email a ddress please send it to me at [email protected]. If I can send you the Trestleboard and other information by email it will save the Lodge money for postage and it will get you the information you need to be an informed member a lot quicker.
