Last week in Childrens Church, we learne

about spies! Joshua sent two spies t

Jericho, when they arrived, they met

woman named Rahab. She helped keep the

safe. Sometimes God puts people in our live

for certain reasons. Sometimes, we are th

people that He sends to help others. Alway

keep your heart open to God calling you t

help others and thank Him when He send

    someone to help you!

    Joshua 1:1-11 and 2:1-24

Dont forget!!! This Thursday is the BLOC

PARTY! It is going to be a blast so invit

    SCOTTS THOUGHTS

    Romans 12:1-2

    New International Version (NIV)

    A Living Sacrifice

12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, view of Gods mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to Godthis your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conforto the pattern of this world, but be transformeby the renewing of your mind. Then you will bable to test and approve what Gods will ishgood, pleasing and perfect will.

This week, we begin a new sermon serie

entitled I am Second. In many ways, ththought behind this series is the basis for truworship. When we recognize Jesus as having thplace of priority in our lives, when we step dowfrom the throne and let him be Lord in our livewe declare his worth.

The natural response to that is a willfsurrender of our lives and goals so that we miglive it all for the glory of God. When we let Jesulive his life in us, we begin to see the wor

through his eyes. His goals become our goalHis mission becomes our mission. His heabecomes our heart.

Lord, please change us from within, make uinto what you want us to be. Help us to pouourselves out, that we might be filled with you.

    How Can I Respond Today?

At FACC we look to the Bible for guidance on

all issues. We believe that Gods Word is

clear concerning what a person must do to

    become a Christian.

Trust that Jesus can bring you tosalvation.

Turn (repent) from the sin in yourlife.

Confess your desire to make Jesus theLord of your life.

Be baptized (immersed) in water forthe forgiveness of sins and to receive

the Holy Spirit into your life.

To make this li fe decision for Chr ist, we ask

that you comeforward dur ing our commitment

songat the conclusion of the Sunday message.

Baptized believers are welcome to become

membersat FACC by coming forward on

Sunday morning or by seeing our Senior

Minister to discuss this further. We ask that

you complete a series ofCur ious classesto help

you better understand what you are

    committing to as a member.
