Mass of Thanksgiving Our former parishioner, Kyle O’Connor, will
be ordained to the priesthood on June 1st. In gra4tude for his ordi-
na4on to the Sacred Order of the Priesthood, Father O’Connor will
celebrate his First Solemn Mass of Thanksgiving at Saint Andrew
Catholic Church in Roanoke on Sunday, June 2nd at 11:30am. Re-
cep4on will follow in the social hall.

Shared Space A community conversa4on for those who have expe-
rienced loss created by substance abuse. Thursday, June 6, 6pm at
Lord Botetourt High School Auditorium. Join a panel discussion
composed of substance abuse preven4on specialists, local clergy
and families who have been directly affected by loss. This event is

Lebanese Fes�val St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church will
be celebra4ng their 21st Annual Lebanese Fes4val on Fri-
day, May 31 through Sunday, June 2. Friday and Saturday
will be from 11am-9pm (food ends at 8pm) and Sunday
11am-8pm. There will be Live Arabic Music, Tradi4onal
Dancing and wonderful food, such as kabobs, hummus,
tabouli, kibbe, chicken shawarma and many more items!
