How do I convince you that you’ll love New Day, that you’ll feel welcome here, and that our preacher’s not too weird? Maybe the best thing to do is to just tell you what I love about our church: I love that our church is diverse. There are rich, poor, young, old, black, white, Hispanic, new Christians, senior saints, those with children and those without, married and single. I love that our church is relevant. There’s something special about worship at New Day. It’s somewhat predictable: You’ll sing some relevant songs, take the Lord’s Supper, hear relevant preaching (hopefully!), and it will be over in about 65 minutes. But we work hard to do it all with excellence and make every service a time for you to meet God. I love that our church is family-friendly. We love kids. I have 4 four kids in our youth programs, so I care a lot about what goes on with our youth and I’m proud of what they’re learning. I love that our church is biblical. We believe the Bible is God’s Word, so we eagerly study the Bible every week and try to put it into practice. And I love that our church is full of grace. Maybe it’s because we’re in Florida and so many of us came here to start over. Maybe it’s our less formal style that matches our South Florida surroundings. Mostly it’s that Jesus Christ is full of grace and truth, and we want to be full of both as well. I hope you’ll find this to be a place full of people who love God and love you, where you encounter the presence of God and grow in Him. We’re glad you’re here!
