  Chris an Eucharis c theology and spirituality are wonderfully expressed in Mary Oliver’s poem:  “The Eucharist”  

Something has happened  to the bread and the wine.  

They have been blessed. What now? The body leans forward  

To receive the gi   from the priest’s hand, then the chalice.  

They are something else now from what they were 

  before this began. I want to see Jesus, maybe in the clouds

Sacraments:

Let us continue to pray for all those preparing for sacraments, especially in this time of uncertainty. New celebration dates are yet to be determined.

     

Public Mass

5pm Saturday; 9am & 11:15am Sunday * New this weekend

 

New this weekend:  while in your pew ‐ only sit and stand (no kneeling). 

New this weekend:  during procession to Communion, step aside a er receiving the Eucharist, li  mask to consume the Body of Christ, lower mask, and return to your pew by side aisles.  

 

The church will be limited to 40% capacity (approximately 125 people).  

The dispensa on from the obliga on to a end Sunday Mass is s ll in effect.  Please stay home if you have symptoms of COVID‐19, don’t feel well, or are in a high risk group. 

 

Masks and hand sani za on (are required) masks and hand sani zer will be available).  

Please enter through the front church doors only, and leave by closest exit immediately a er Mass, but s ll maintaining social distance. 

 

Only the Body will be offered during Communion (not the Cup).  

There will be no singing, no offertory (a basket will be available for your dona ons), no sign of peace.  

Please follow the direc ons of the ushers during the distribu on of the Eucharist, to maintain social distance.  

The church is being sani zed before every Mass.  

If you need special assistance, please contact an usher at church, or email [email protected] ahead of  me.  Note that ramp is being used as an exit, so an usher would need to help you enter there, if needed.

200 Club Celebrate Summer and the Sols ce

by ea ng some strawberries!!  

Yes, it is a tradi on in Sweden to eat the first strawberries on the Summer Sols ce, this year on June 20th.   

June’s full moon is known as the “Full Strawberry Moon”  

...and by joining the St. Thomas More 200 Club!!  

The longest day of the year is more than 14 hours long.  Our goal is to increase the membership in the 200 Club by 14 new 

members by the end of June, one for each hour of daylight during the sols ce.   

 

What a great way to celebrate the onset of Summer and to posi on the parish to respond ever more posi vely as we turn the 

corner on the Covid 19 pandemic!  

Enrollment is easy.  Subscrip on op ons are for 3, 6 or 12 months, at a cost of $50, $100 or $200 respec vely.  

Simply write a check made payable to St. Thomas More with  200 Club in the memo sec on.  Mail it, along with your contact informa on [address, phone, and email], to the parish office at
