QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"We can't help everyone,

but everyone can help

someone."

- Ronald Reagan

For over 49 years this congregation has let our light shine through summer

camp. This one week each year impacts the lives of young men and young women in

ways that are unique to the church. Over the years our campers invite their friends

and neighbors to come to camp and in this way camp becomes a great out-

reach. Thank you to the many people who participated in this outreach mission,

whether in person, monetarily or by just praying for us. Whatever your contribution

it makes a significant impact on the lives of people. Our mission is to transform lives

and West of Heaven truly transforms the lives of many individuals.

Benevolence…A Ministry of Help. ”Serving God by serving others”

Ephesians 2:10 “ For we are God’s workmanship, creat-ed in Christ Jesus to do good works which He has pre-pared in advance for us to do”

Wednesday August 6, 2014 Stillwater Church of Christ "Community Partnerships"

The Stillwater Church of Christ community partnerships play a significant role in our opportunities to reach out to others. Continuing our theme for the summer, "I want to be a worker for the Lord," we will look more closely at four of our ongoing community partnerships that offer us avenues outside the walls of the building to serve "God by serving others"!

Special guest speaker, Quinn Shipper, Director of "Stillwater Cares"

The Wednesday night program will also include presen-

tations on the Stillwater Mission of Hope, our partner-

ship with the Oklahoma City Regional Food Bank, and

the Cooper House Benevolence and Outreach Center.

We invite you to join us in one of these works as we

continue to reach out into the community, so that others

may know Jesus.
