PT Update
All I ever wanted to know about kids I learned at PT: If you love them, they will love you back. If you praise them, they will strive to do better for encouragement works
wonders. If you set boundaries, they will abide by them or lose privileges because
actions have consequences. If you feed them, they will grow.
As in kindergarten they learn: Share everything, play fair, and don’t hit playmates, put things back where you get them, clean up your mess. Don’t take things that don’t belong to you, say you are sorry when you hurt someone. Sing, dance, work and play for a well-balanced life. And when you go into the world, hold hands, lookout for traffic and stick together.
We are the potters and they are the clay. What we mold today is our future tomorrow, which makes me have a finer appreciation for our Sunday School teachers and leaders.
As you attend the PT programs this week, (see box below) look into the anxious, inquiring eyes of these kids and see if you can pick out tomorrow’s teachers, scientists, attorneys, doctors, etc. They are our future; handle with care.
It does take a village. God bless all! Nancy Hartman

Give Your Family a Break
Our neighboring church, Faith Presbyterian (top of the hill at Ridgeoak & Marsh) has invited us to attend a series they are having entitled “Consider the Conversation”. The program on July 31st will be covering living wills, power of attorney and funeral arrangements. Forms and assistance will be provided. This is not a conversation any of us want to have, but it needs to come while we are capable of making decisions. Thanks to our friends at Faith Presbyterian for including us.
