July 03 BIS CLOSED - Canada Day Long Weekend July 05 Bowling at Bowlerama (Bayfield Mall) - Meet us at the Barrie program site (21 Essa Rd.) by 9:30

am or meet us at the bowling alley at Bayfield Mall (320 Bayfield St.) by 10:00 am. Don’t be late!!! Cost is $7.00 (includes shoe rental)

July 10 Baking Cookies – Mmmm…nothing makes a morning like the smell of cookies baking! July 12 Shuffleboard at Parkview 55+ Centre - Meet us at the Barrie program site (21 Essa Rd.) by 9:30

am or meet us at Parkview 55+ Centre (189 Blake St.) by 10:00 am. No cost for participants July 17 Brain Power: Challenge your brain finding as many words as you can in a fun session of group

Boggle! July 19 BIS / March of Dimes Annual Picnic - 11:00 am-2:00 pm. Meet us at the program site at the

usual time OR meet us at 11:00am at Woods Park Care Centre (110 Lillian Crescent, Barrie). Join us for hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, treats, and drinks. Summer fun is guaranteed!

July 24 Triversity - This is a card game and a word game in one! The deck contains132 cards in three

different suits. You are dealt ten and must make up the highest score possible- but you must use letters of the same suit only. Wild cards, opportunities to build on other player’s words and more provide unexpected twists and turns!

Program Planning - Today the group will plan our activities for September and October. This is YOUR opportunity to plan activities that you like and will help you in your recovery

July 26 Ice Cream Making – This morning the group will be making Ice Cream! While we’re waiting for the ice cream to be ready, we

will have some fun playing Wii Sports video games July 31 ABI Education – Learn how to improve your listening skills in this informative workshop!
