Greetings Reid Temple Family,

Summer is officially here! We do hope that you will enjoy this wonderful season and take the opportunity to spend time with family and friends. In July, our church is as active as ever! We believe there is no better time than the summer months for the body of believers to worship, fellowship and serve in meaningful ways together.

The Impact Leadership Conference will be held at Bowie State University’s Fine and Performing Arts Center on Saturday, July 30th. God blessed us last year as we were presented in various forums with practical ways to embody servant leadership in our areas of ministry. Indeed, we were better because of the experience last year! We look forward to what God will do at this year and we cannot wait to see how the 2016 experience will exceed our first conference.

We also look forward to “Aligned” 20/30 Weekend 2016 for the twenty somethings and thirty somethings of our congregation. Aligned will be held Friday, July 22 – Sunday July, 24th. Some of the nation’s most sought after pastors, preachers and teachers will be here at Reid Temple over three days to encourage and equip our church’s Millennial population. We encourage all that are apart of this demographic to participate in this experience. We expect you will be blessed!

We are excited for our youth at our Glenn Dale and North locations. We have provided opportunities for them to be educated and edified during their break from school through our Vacation Bible School, Reid Academy Summer Camp and Vacation Bible Camp. Each year these programs are well attended and our young people enjoy them. We encourage parents to register your children while spaces are still available.

We are grateful to God for the ministry that is taking place at Reid Temple this summer. We pray that His hand of favor will continue to rest upon our church.
