Sunday was a great day as we celebrated VBS and

witnessed the baptism of a new believer, Thomas Shockley.

The morning services were capped off with the addition of the

Baxley’s to our congregation and the profession of faith of

Allison Oliver. Sunday evening we enjoyed the fellowship of

the Eldorendo Baptist Church and heard an outstanding

concert by the Saints Alive Choir of First Baptist. What a

great day!!!

This Sunday will be just as exciting as we will have

one to baptize in the Morning service and as we celebrate the

Fourth of July. First Baptist Church is a great place to

worship.

I am looking forward to our Silent Lord’s Supper

Service on July 13. If you have never been a part of a silent

service then you really won’t want to miss this event. It is a

time of reflection and rededication as we listen to God speak

to us throughout the service. Make your plans now to attend.

REVIVAL SERVICES will be held on OCTOBER

12-15. Rob Coram will be preaching and John Hall will lead

the music for these services. Mark the date and begin now to

pray for those services and for all the services of First Baptist

Church.

I look forward to seeing you this Sunday.

CHURCH MUSICIANS NEEDED Thanks for taking a moment to complete and return the

Music Ministry Service Survey which was sent to known

musicians here at FBC. If you did not receive a survey

and have an interest in participating in the Music Minis-

try, please call me at 400-7070. I will get a copy to you

ASAP. Return them to me or to the box located by the

Choir room door. Your faithful participation is needed for

our body to perform at its best!

SAINTS ALIVE-MAKING A DIFFERENCE

We were the featured worship leaders for the Fifth Sun-

day Sing which was held at Eldorendo Baptist Church on

Sunday, June 29. Those who came were blessed. The fel-

lowship meal was great, too. I appreciate all of the Saints

Alive Choir members who invested their lives in sharing

the Gospel way above and beyond what we have done

before. You shared in 10 concerts in 6 weeks and traveled

over 200 miles.

VBS Let me add my voice of appreciation to those who are

praising the laborers in the VBS fields. Your toil and

sweat paid off last week and will reap many benefits in

the lives of these kids for years to come. Hearing the

Gospel in VBS changed my eternal future and your ef-

forts had eternal consequences.

Art

We have hit the ground running here at FBC. I could not be

more excited about the opportunities the last three weeks have

provided. From MERGE, VBS, and a vision trip with Reach

the Nations, God has really provided a great opportunity for

me to meet people and begin building relationships.

Please join in praying for us while we continue to transition.

We are planning on moving within the next two weeks. We

cannot wait to live here and join the community. Also, please

pray that God will sell our house in Opp!!!!

I am here to serve you, so if you ever need me do not hesitate

to call, text, or email!! My email is jbaxley AT fbcbainbridge

DOT com. I look forward to seeing everyone this week at

worship!!

Blessings,

Jeff
